Star Gazy ligt in een rustig voetgangerspad en er is een privéparkeerplaats op korte loopafstand, een geweldige bonus in St. Ives. Het strand van Porthmeor ligt op slechts een paar minuten lopen van het huisje, met alle andere stranden, cafés en kleine winkels etc binnen een 5 minuten lopen. In het huisje zijn er 6 trappen die je naar de eetkamer brengen, alles is dan op een niveau. Star Gazy werd oorspronkelijk gebouwd rond 200 jaar geleden als een winkel voor vis, en werd ongeveer 100 jaar geleden omgezet naar een 3 slaapkamers huis. Star Gazy behoudt een aantal van haar originele kenmerken, zoals ontdaan vloerdelen in de eetkamer en de slaapkamers en balken en graniet in de eetzaal. Het is licht en luchtig en kijkt uit over de tuinen in de wei. Zorgvuldigheid is betracht bij het kiezen van meubels en apparatuur naar het huisje als eigenzinnig en comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Een welkomstpakket met thee, koffie en koekjes wacht op u en onze huishoudster doet er alles aan om een ​​paar spullen in het huisje achter te laten voor uw gebruik, afwasmiddel, zout, peper, handzeep, enz. Alle beddengoed en handdoeken zijn professioneel witgewassen en in de prijs inbegrepen. Strandlakens, kinderbedjes, buggy's, kinderstoelen en andere apparatuur kunnen direct bij Star Linen St. worden gehuurd. Ives en zal worden afgeleverd en voor u worden verzameld. Great cottage

We had a fantastic week at Star Gazy. The cottage was spacious, light, bright, clean and so well equipped! Location is in a really quiet street but still only a 2 minute walk to Porthmeor beach. We loved wandering down at night and watching the sunset. Outside tap so useful for washing wetsuits. Car park a bonus. We would definitely return.

Sweet cottage near Porthmeor Beach.

This sweet cottage is less than a minute’s walk from the beautiful Porthmeor Beach in St Ives. It has everything you need for a holiday. A real home from home feel too. You can easily get to the shops and, although there isn’t a view of the sea, you can hear the distant sounds of the waves from the beach which is really lovely! The only thing to be aware of is the parking is up a pretty steep road/steps and takes about 5-10 minutes depending on how fit you are and it can be tricky with traffic flow getting in and out of the parking spot. But overall it is a super place, especially if you intend to spend most of your time on the beautiful Porthmeor Beach!

Beautiful St Ives

Perfect location right opposite the beach and two minutes from the town. Nice accommodation but could have been cleaner. I found crumbs in my bedroom and dirt between the settee. The accommodation did need updating and a proper deep clean. If your not too particular it’s the ideal accommodation at a good price.,

Wonderfully characterful cottage located in a magnificent position. Perfect for a family get away and the parking space really is a bonus with St. Ives. Sandra’s communication was great and we would be more than happy to stay there again.

Lovely cottage in a great location

Great communication from the owner from start to finish. Lovely cottage in a great location, but the steps may be problematic for some. It was great being able to get to the beach in seconds, as well as being able to walk into town so quickly. We didn’t use the car all week.

We had an enjoyable stay at star Gazy Cottage. Sandra’s communication was brilliant from booking to leaving. The location of the property was incredible-just a few feet away from the beach and shops. I do think that maybe the bathroom could do with updating as the shower is very small. But all in all a positive stay. Thank you Sandra.

We had a great time at StarGazy, great location close to both town and the beach. Check in was simple and the owner was easy to communicate with. Although there’s a few steps to enter once you are in it’s great to have property all on one level. Would stay again

Perfect Location!

Stargazy is a little gem! Seconds from the beach and minutes from the harbour and town, it really is in the perfect location. Sandra left a lovely welcome bottle of wine and some essentials to get us started and her cottage is both traditional and beautiful. The parking space is a huge bonus too! Thank you Sandra, we had a wonderful week and will definitely book again!

Half term in St Ives

Cottage was lovely but the steep steps into the property should be highlighted on the main advert as it was tough to get up them with our cases! The actual cottage was lovely and perfect for us as everyone had a bit of space. Central location was fab too. Great shore fishing from Porthmeor Beach. Lovely coastal walks and The Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum we’re worth a visit.

Delightful cottage

Perfectly located, quaint cosy cottage- very quiet location, a note of caution- stairs up to and into the property are steep. Car parking space is a fair distance from the property and there is a challenging walk to the parking space which in itself is a challenge due to limited space if one owns a bigger car. Bathroom although functional could do with updating (radiator, mirror, shower all rather tatty) this didn’t spoil our stay and we would certainly return here in the future.
