Mooie Bay Retreat is gelegen op een toplocatie met een aantal uitzicht op zee. Er is ook een prachtig gemeenschappelijk terras met een fantastisch panoramisch uitzicht op zee over naar St Ives Bay en daarbuiten. Het creëert de perfecte plek voor stelletjes en gezinnen die willen ontspannen en genieten van een luxe self catering vakantie elk moment van het jaar.

Intern is het appartement is helder en mooi gepresenteerd. De centrale hal heeft deuren die leiden uit tot een open woonkamer met een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een eethoek en een gezellige lounge met een luxe uitstraling heeft omvat. Een grote badkamer met bad, douche, toilet, wastafel en een verwarmd handdoekenrek. Een mooie slaapkamer en tweede slaapkamer met twee eenpersoonsbedden.

Extern is er een heerlijk ruim, gemeenschappelijk terras met een schitterend uitzicht op zee en uitzicht op de kust. Ideaal om te ontspannen met een goed boek of het kijken naar de zonsondergang. Er is ook het extra voordeel van een toegewezen parkeerplaats.

Bay Retreat is een premium self catering vakantiehuis waardoor het een schitterende uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de vele prachtige bezienswaardigheden die Cornwall te bieden heeft.

Lokale voorzieningen: De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is een Tesco dat is minder dan 5 minuten rijden van de hoofdweg A3074 weg naar St Ives. Er zijn ook banken, kappers, een apotheek, een postkantoor krantenwinkels en algemene winkels allemaal op korte loopafstand. Tijdens de dag waarop op het strand is er een café, winkel en food outlet.

Attracties: Een geweldige locatie voor koppels en kleine gezinnen. Carbis Bay echt geeft je het beste van beide werelden. De rust en stilte van de Compass Point nog slechts een korte afstand van het levendige centrum van St Ives.
Verder een veld Penzance, St Michael's Mount, Lands End, mooie Sennen Cove (surfen), Padstow (kookcursussen met Rick Stein), Port Isaac (opnames van tv-show Doc Martin), Newquay (indoor Water World), & St Austell ( Eden Project) zijn allemaal gemakkelijk te bereiken met de auto of de trein.

Good quality appartment (well equipped)

The bath in the bathroom was not useable during our 10 day visit. The plumber didn't fix the bath faucet, he made a temporary fix so we were able to use the shower, but didn't return to make the bath faucet useable. The appartment is very damp when using the indoors bathroom, there are not enough ventilation options available. (bathroom ventilator and open windows are not sufficient enough) Too much notices, friendly notices and guidelines around the appartment (every wall and the information map is covered with this information) Nevertheless the appartment is well situated nearby the railway station for a visit to St. Ives (3 mins walk) and the beach (after a steep downhill, don't forget the steep uphill back, walk), we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend visiting St. Ives for a holiday

This was our second time to the property. Perfect location for Carbis bay with it's beautiful beach and train to st Ives, with all the amenities it offers. The apartment is perfect for a small family, recently renovated.

Modern Apartment in Carbis Bay Complex

Small, modern, bright and fully equipped apartment some three hundred metres from the beach. We took the apartment for a week at the very start of the season and found it to be an excellent base from which to visit the St. Ives area of Cornwall. The apartment was very clean, had wi-fi, a smart tv, washing machine, dishwasher and (pod) coffee machine. During our stay we communicated with both the owner and the lady who manages the property and found both to be polite, understanding and extremely helpful.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Lovely clean and convenient apartment withing walking distance of Carbis Bay. Tesco's is a 5 min drive away and there's a nice walk to St Ives that's much easier than finding parking if you want a day walking round the harbour. The apartment is nice and xlean

Week in cornwall

Location to Carbis bay beach superb and with rail service to St ives 200 yards away fantastic access to town with no parking problems. Apartment ideal for 3-4 adults and Lucy was timely in all comms. Early check out for COVID was not great so we left early pm a day early and spent the afternoon in North Cornwall so not a problem for us.

Perfect in every way

A beautiful restful place to stay

We enjoyed our week here. The flat was modern and comfortable with everything we needed. Lucy was very helpful and friendly. We found the little branch line train very useful and rarely took the car although we visited many local places. The only slight reservations were that we understood all flats had a view across the sea - ours was in the second row back. The on line photo was unclear. Secondly there was nothing local - no cafe, no shop, nothing within a 20 minute uphill walk. So it was supermarket shopping :( This aside we would thoroughly recommend Compass Point.

Great base for exploring west Cornwall

Perfect for what we needed for a relaxing week. Very comfortable, clean and close to Carbis Bay beach. Well equipped kitchen for when we wanted to eat in. We met Lucy when we arrived and she was very welcoming and helpful with ideas of where to visit. St Ives is close by and quite walkable along the coast path or you can take the train (3 mins) for £1! Location is great for exploring much of west Cornwall with many stunning beaches, coves and coastal walks all within about 40 mins drive.

Good for the Soul

Excellent location overlooking the breathtaking views of Carbis Bay. Well equipped apartment with all you need to make your stay very comfortable, fluffy white towels and bed linen provided as well as household items, washing up liquid etc. Good bed and excellent shower. Close to railway that's one stop away to St Ives for £1 per adult or a picturesque 20 minute walk. Great cliff walk to Porthkidney beach on your doorstep. Close by is the Carbus Bay Hotel for fab food and wine, worth the hilly walk back home! I came home recharged and rested.

Bay Retreat Carbis Bay

Lovely location. Very easy access to St Ives on the train, easy access to beach plus great coastal walks. Take the boat trip to the Scillies. We saw dolphins! Apartment clean, well appointed, however my only very slight grumble is that there is not really enough seating in the lounge area for 4 people and another chair/small sofa would help. Otherwise lovely and host is really helpful.
