The stay exceeded my expectations! Staff were very nice. Pet fee was a reasonable price (more hotels should be like that and not have to pay almost another night in pet fees) Room was clean. Hot water with good pressure. Breakfast was simple but had something for everyone!

The bed was rock hard. It had no blankets. The heater didn’t work. No rugs or carpet so tile floor was very cold. The washer and dryer did work well. Keys kept getting erased. Not the most pleasant place to stay. They did give us more blankets and a space heater which made it better.

Red Lion Inn and Suites was decently clean. The bathroom, floor, desktop surface, fridge and microwave. I appreciate that the room doesn't smell like smoke. The hallway however, smell musky. I had two separate reservations and the front desk staff was nice enough to allow me to keep the same room. The negative part is that the entire time we were there, the room floor never stopped vibrating due to the freeway next to it. It's way worse when it's a truck. In addition, indoor pool and ice machine doesn't work. Free breakfast was decent.

My top lock was missing on my door, and my room looked so cheap you could also hear a conversation from right outside the door since there was no seal at the bottom of the door.

The room we were in was freshly remodeled, but still had a little hint of smoke. Only 8” innerspring mattress that was hard. The environment surrounding the hotel is pretty rough. We saw a fight breakout in the morning in the parking lot in front of the hotel. There was no gym so we walked in the parking lot but felt unsafe. Hotel staff were nice, clean cut and courteous though.

I'm waiting for my security deposit back from the first time I stayed here on December 30-December 31, 2023. I'm also waiting for my security deposit AND one night refunded from when I stayed on January 16, 2024. I paid for 2 nights but then I was called into work on January 17, 2024 & ended up having to check out at 10:30 am on January 17, 2024. So I was told I would be refunded for the night of January 17, 2024 - January 18, 2024 PLUS the deposit from that trip. I have received nothing from either trip. Nothing was wrong with my room whenever I checked out. So I'm not sure what the best way to handle this is but I'm owed well over 200$ & have been for almost 2 months

Bathroom was very smell. There was a very strong smell as you entered the building. The staff were friendly but inattentive. Needed to tell them that they were out of items in the breakfast buffet. Key card stopped working the night of check in. Room was cold but unable to adjust the heat in the room. Fire extinguishers in hallway all expired in 2022.

The property was in a convenient off hwy setting, easy to spot, but away from traffic. Bud, the manager, was very friendly and accommodating.
