'Beautiful cottage with really lovely hosts. They couldn't have been nicer, and so welcoming, and happy for us to come and go as we pleased during our stay. The best part about our stay was the breakfast! Honey yoghurt with granola and fruit, full English or smashed avocado, was beautiful and set us upfor the day ❤️'

'We have stayed here before and it is lovely comfortable accommodation. You receive a breakfast bag each day and the fridge is stocked with milk and water. There are also plenty of teabags, coffee and biscuits provided. You have everything you need for a relaxing stay.'

'I stay here most years for an event I attend nearby. The rooms are good value, clean and have everything I need. It is low hassle, quiet and I sleep well. Breakfast is very basic Fruit, pastry and cereal bar hung on the door the day before but suits me for an early start.'

'We had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. Hannah was extremely helpful and was quick to respond when i accidentally deleted the message with the keycode!
The room was extremely comfortable and clean.
We had a superb meal in the pub, and the staff were very friendly.
The room was peaceful and quiet, and we enjoyed the views and a glorious sunset.
Im an early riser, and i spend some time identifying the birds in the location.
Even a chicken popped in to say hello!

'It’s a lovely place to stay if you like walking a lot. It’s a short drive to local places of interest. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. The ladder up to the bedroom is quite a quirky feature. Overall it’s a lovely cosy base to explore from.'

'Friendly welcome. Tasty evening meal from a good choice of dishes. Very comfortable nights sleep and great full English breakfast to dsend us on our way. Lighting rather dim: bathroom possibly requires new fluorescent bulb: in bedroom, one of the three bulbs u/s so needs replscing and LHS bedside light bulb was quite dusty. Ligting ptroblem reported to management who took note and said they would sort asap.
