Op 5 minuten wandelen van de haven en winkelstraat
Uitstekende keuken en schitterend uitzicht vanaf balkon op haven en zee. Fantastisch personeel.

Very clean, spacious and comfortable room with one of the greatest views ever. Superb bed. Cracking view from restaurant as well. Chef is very good. Walking distance to the high street and marina. Worth every penny in my not so humble opinion. However the cracking view comes at the price of walking a bit up the hill so if you are an OAP with arthritis in the knee then you may want to trade that view in for convenience and moss smell down at the bay at another hotel, but this boutique hotel gets my money every time.

Great value for money if you are more concerned about the quality of the hotel than the size of the room. As someone who only has a room to sleep in it was perfect for me.

I recommend La Fregate
The hotel is in a superb location with stunning views across the harbour. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was very good.

Weekend in Guernsey
Stayed here for 2 days in Aug 23. Booked the cheaper room in the old part of the hotel but with the excellent view. Staff are excellent here, food was also to a very high standard and the waiting staff were first class. Location is perfect, Hotel and room were clean, the bathrooms were a little dated in the original part but we chose not to book the newer suites. I would definitely recommend this Hotel and suggest you go for the newer suites. Fabulous View of the town and harbour

Toplage direkt in der Stadt und am Hafen. Das Personal ist leider nicht sehr freundlich. Die Bar war schlecht bedient am Abend. In der Suite z.B. keine gratis Früchte, dürftiges Frühstück, kein Kühlschrank in der Suite, Duschen nur in der Badewanne mit sehr hohem Einstieg und ohne Antirutschbelag möglich... Der Preis für die Suite von ca. 500chf pro Nacht ist in keiner Art und Weise gerecht fertigt.

A most excellent stay
I spent several nights at La Frigate and had an excellent experience. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The location, at the crest of a hill, provides a quiet experience and amazing views of the harbor (and the fireworks during Liberation Day, too). Just a short (uphill) walk from the quay. I strongly recommend this establishment.

I had an excellent stay at La Fregate. The hotel is perfectly located for business in town and the staff were only too happy to go the extra mile. Outstanding professionalism of front of house, high-end, quiet, extensive well-thought-out wine list and delicious food in the restaurant.

Our room was large and the view of the harbour from the balcony was very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant for our 39th wedding anniversary, the food was of excellent quality and beautifully presented.

The hotel was lovely, it was very quiet during the day. At night it could be a little noisy from the bar inside the hotel and also from an external public house at the foot of the hotel which proved very noise. This was not the fault of the hotel.

This hotel has beautiful views over St Peter Port but that means a steep walk up a slope to get there. My single room was a good size, in the older part of the hotel and suffered a bit from noise from the restaurant terrace below my window and also noise drifting up from the pub in the street below on my last night. There was no aircon in my room so it was hot, and it would be nice if the hotel provided guests with a portable electric fan. I appreciated the two free bottles of water replenished daily. The hot breakfast was very good, and lovely views from the restaurant in the morning, but continental selection a little basic. The room could do with more plug sockets, as two were behind the bed, and another placed so that the hairdryer did not reach the mirror, which was slightly annoying. Large bathroom with bath but no separate walk in shower, and in general the room could do with updating.

Lovely, well appointed rooms, superb shower, convenient balcony overlooking the harbour, comfy bed, nice breakfast and absolutely wonderful, attentive, polite and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

We had a great few days stay at La Fregate everything was clean and tidy and staff were more than attentive. The only small criticism was the soap, shampoo etc. were not automatically topped up and had to be asked for, apart from that all good.

The views both from the room and the restaurant were brilliant. The breakfasts were good and staff friendly albeit sometimes a little slow and our order was mixed up a few times. The room was big and had a nice modern bathroom, but I disliked the window into the bathroom and found that a very odd concept. Overall though, it was a nice hotel in walking distance to lots of nice restaurants and things to do.

Really lovely hotel with great view over the harbour. Big room, comfy bed, spectacular restaurant serving good breakfast (choice and quality). Staff very cheery and helpful. Enjoyed our stay and would book again.
