Pros: pool, proximity to everything, host responded to queries Cons: house had a major issue with Gnats. Host was contacted and they did have pest control come but the treatment that was used did nothing to get rid of gnats. Couldnt enjoy eating food as there were too many of them. i am asmathatic and had a hard time breathing in the house due to air conditioning vents not being properly cleaned. Didn't notice the vents not being cleaned til later on during our trip. While landscapers were present they sprayed weed killer in the backyard while my 3 small kids were outside eating their lunch (youre supposed to tell people to go inside while spraying that stuff). At this point i was fed up and so i called VRBO to complain about my difficulty breathing due to home not being clean, even sent photos to show the dirty air vents as well as how many Gnats we had captured via a STEM light. Even sent them photos of the gnats. VRBO contacted host and the host refused to partially refund me. On the last day, my son ended up leaving with a fever too so we were both affected. Putting small children in a home that isnt clean and also have weed killer sprayed while they are outside eating is absolutely wrong and carelessness.
