Dit appartement is zeer goed onderhouden en heeft overal leuke updates! Van nieuwe vloeren tot verse verf tot een volledig vernieuwde keuken, u vindt het hier allemaal! Toevoegen op het privébalkon dat zich uitstrekt van de woon- en eetkamer voor een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang is de kers op de taart! Dit condo-gebouw ligt dicht bij de beroemde John's Pass Boardwalk op het strand van Madeira en ligt op slechts een klein eindje rijden of een paar trolleybakken. Gratis wifi is inbegrepen. LET OP: dit is een niet-roken woning, met uitzondering van 2 aangewezen rookruimtes buiten.

The Emerald Isle is een direct gebouw aan het strand van North Redington Beach. Dit gebouw heeft optionele appartementen met 2 of 3 slaapkamers, die allemaal vanaf hun eigen balkon een direct uitzicht op de Golf van Mexico hebben. U vindt John's Pass Village ongeveer 4 mijl naar het zuiden, dat is gevuld met winkels, restaurants, wateractiviteiten en entertainment voor iedereen. Heb je zin om op een paar achtbanen te rijden terwijl je in de stad bent? Busch Gardens in Tampa ligt op slechts een uur rijden of raak de Disney-parken en alle andere attracties van Orlando in ongeveer 2 uur. Het Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Clearwater Aquarium (Home of Winter the Dolphin), Hard Rock Casino, prachtige staatsparken en kilometerslange stranden zijn maar een paar redenen om onze Pinellas County-stranden te bezoeken !!! North Redington Beach is een schilderachtig strandstadje dat op slechts een korte rit buiten St Petersburg ligt; een stad vol met musea, kunstgalerijen, restaurants en winkels. Mooie uitgestrekte strand, geweldige plekken om te vissen en alles wat je nodig hebt vlak in de buurt maakt de Emerald Isle een geweldige vakantie keuze!

Condo under Renovation

I’m sure I missed it in the listing but I didn’t see that the property’s pool was not open due to renovations. That was a big bummer with 3 kids. Condo itself was nice. I just didn’t realize the extent of the renovations that was going on.

Loved our time at Emerald Isle

We've stayed in various condos along Redington beach and chose Emerald Isle this year as it was a smaller complex of only 24 condos. Property Manager was very efficient in responding to queries both before our arrival, on arrival and getting us in slightly earlier than our booked time and during our stay when we had a query. We liked the layout of our condo (603) and it was quiet around the pool during our stay. We're already talking about plans for next year...

Great location!

Perfectly located on the beach and near restaurants. Easy to get on and off the beach. Only cons are the furniture has stains (probably from people sitting on with sun lotion on) and dining room chairs are coming apart. I can overlook because of the view and location.

OK if you are not allergic to DUST

According to pictures on the listing the unit appeared to be NEWER than what we experienced. Upon arrival we found a coffee stain on the counter and oil marks around kitchen cabinet hardware. We understand the unit needs to be remodeled especially the bathrooms, but there is no reason for it to be unkept. We found major dust under beds, ceiling fans and the exhaust fans in bathrooms were filthy. There were no GFI's near vanities. The door to get into unit would not latch and did not have extra security deadbolt. Box spring in second bedroom appeared to be moldy. Beds were not comfortable. At the end of our stay, we removed bedding for washing and noticed the pillows were stained along with the lamps that had water marks on them. Last but not least, due to all the dust not only did my friend suffer from dust allergens but she also had sleep deprivation from the security light outside shining into the bedroom. Blackout shades would have been nice. Other than all the above, we did enjoy the view from the balcony.

Construction ongoing

The next door unit was undergoing construction, and it's another rental by the same agency. They should have not rented this unit during this time, because it was noisy all day, every day. Constant hammering on the walls and drilling. Also, blinds were old and not working well and plumbing needs work because we had to plunge toilets numerous times.

Great if you like roaches in the kitchen and dirty fans

Let me start by saying that I'm not picky at all when it comes to rental property. I can put up with a lot and still be happy at the beach. But, filthy ceiling fans, dirty hallway walls, mildew/mold on the bathroom ceilings, and roaches all over the kitchen are a bit much for the price we paid. It was our 30th anniversary and we've stayed at Emerald Isles a few times over the years and always had a great experience. This time was different. The first day there we were headed to the store to buy roach bait and spray. Roaches were coming out from under the frig, under the sink, and on the counter tops. When I say roaches, I don't many a few here and there, I mean dozens. Considering the lack of cleaning I asked for a minimum of my cleaning fee back, but only received part of it. The amount refunded for what we had to put up with was insulting. I guess it's time to find a new condo for vacations.

Amazing beach front property

We had a great stay for the week and would definitely return. We had absolutely no issues that required contacting the property manager. The check in process (picking the packet/keys up at another location) was slightly inconvenient but a breeze and required no personal contact. The balcony views could rent this condo on their own!

The good things far outweigh the issues

The positives of the property are: LOCATION!, space/size and the kitchen. The condo is in the most convenient location when your goal is to go the beach or spend time at the pool. Both are super easy to access, and everyone around is super friendly. The size was perfect for us, 2 kids and my parents to all stay together. The kitchen is beautiful and it was so nice to be able to cook there. We loved the kitchen, dining room/ family room element of the condo. The cons: the key situation is unnecessary and the cleanliness was not up to par for me. The keys are extremely hard to access the building with as mentioned multiple times on this review page and by every person staying there that we encountered and spoke with. We got lucky by having them install a new lock while we were there which then made the front door to the condo a breeze to get into. And lastly, the cleanliness to the condo upon arrival is not what I expected. Luckily there is a Publix close by and we bought some cleaning supplies. Again, overall the condo was a great experience and turned out well for us. Just don't look under the beds or the couches.

Beach Vacation

We'll start with the bad and work our way to the good. First as other reviewers noted, the key situation is ridiculous. One of the two sets of keys we received did not work at all. The owner needs spend some money to upgrade to a key less entry system. The living room furniture should have been replaced years ago it is very tired and dirty. The area rug in the living room and the bedroom carpets are disgusting. They all need to go. The kitchen and dining area were clean. The cable tv situation was a mess. There are for remotes for the system. and no instructions. The blinds on the sliding door are completely nonfunctional. The sliding door also needs attention as it tended to come off track. Three of the four light bulbs in the shared bath were burned out. Surely the cleaning crew talks to the property manager? We had to contact the property manager for keys that worked, light bulbs, batteries for remotes, and for kitchen towels and dish clothes. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the utensils and appliances you need. The laundry across the hall was convenient. The wifi performed well. The location is wonderful. The view from the balcony and the sunsets are great. The pool is well cared for and quite nice. Being right on the beach is marvelous. You can hear the ocean from the unit.

the unit and location were great, the downside is the keys and the locks that don't seem to work most of the time everywhere you go needs a key also the tenant in 503 needs to lighten up!! people are here to relax and enjoy a vacation not to have him worrying about every move that guest make. (parking,the luggage cart, the proper use of the unloading zone,the gates and on and on ) The views are everything you could hope for in sunsets.

Great vacation

The property was exactly as it was described. Caitlin at the rental place was fantastic and she answered questions very quickly. Maureen should take some lessons from Caitlin on customer service and being welcoming. Overall a great vacation!

Worst vacation rental I’ve had. The condo smelled like mold and mildew. There was not a washer and dryer in the unit and had to PAY to due laundry. They was a big leak in the ceiling in the hallway and the sliding glass door the handle was falling off so you couldn’t lock it.

Condo was beautiful and had everything we needed! Condo, pool and beach were very clean. Loved spending the mornings on the balcony drinking our morning coffee and the evenings watching the sunset! Nicely decorated condo with comfortable beds.

We enjoyed the condo! The beds were comfortable & the decor was very pretty. There were a few minor snags such as a bedroom door off the hinges, and a shower nozzle that didn’t work well. We weren’t a fan of the key situation. It wasn’t ideal to have to go to an office to pick up keys first. Plus the keys were needed for the elevator, the gate to/from pool as well as to/from beach. With 4 adults only having 2 keys wasn’t ideal. It was also annoying to have to have them on you at the beach or you couldn’t get back into gate. Keypads would have worked better. They were dredging so a GIANT black pipe that spanned the entire beach. You had to walk out of your way to cross it & couldn’t see the ocean behind it. The Red Tide was also there so dead fish littered the beach daily & the smell was awful. We chose to drive to Fort Desoto to try to have a better beach. Dropping the keys in the drop box instead of having to drive them back to the office was nice. We appreciated that.
