The property was dated. It had carpet in the bathroom. The freezer was not defrosted, the electrical outlets did not work near the bed. The cottage needed a new mattress.

Quaint little stay
The stay was lovely. The room was private and we did cook in the kitchen which while small was well stocked with the dishes and pans I needed. The beach was just a short walk away.

Fantastic, Funky Little Place
It made one fell as if among treetops and was an easy walk to the beach (or drive to parking area). Creativity is the by-word for truly enjoying the space. Bed was comfortable. Had the good fortune to meet and chat with the hostess. If we ever get to SSI again, we'll look this place up first.

Absolutely a terrible experience. Very dated property with difficult access due to owner parking restrictions. The one TV did not function at all. The tiny old, half refrigerator did not work properly. The squirrels nest in the air conditioning unit over the bed allowed us limited sleep. Saw a roach at 2:00 AM one night next to the bathroom sink. Would not stay here even if free.

Baby Breezy Treehouse, St. Simons Island, GA
This was a very unsatisfactory vacation rental during New Years 2023. My girlfriend and I were bitten by fleas that were present in the bed and the apartment. The floors were dirty and the freezer needed defrosting and would not freeze ice. We had to check out a day early due to the flea infestation. VRBO/Vacasa would only refund the $106 cleaning cost and not the lost day of vacation. The local property manager and VACASA were very dismissive of our claims about the fleas even after we sent pictures of the fleas and the bites on my girlfriend's legs. I would not recommend staying at this St. Simons property due to this poor experience.

Cozy and affordable
It was perfect for me as a solo traveler. Hot water o plenty. I didnt cook, i used coffeemaker that uses kcups. Bed was comfortable. The only small issue is the window ac unit is above the bed and in my humble opinion a little noisy, so i just turned it off when i went to sleep. Great location, close to beach and the village and the park and the lighthouse and the pier. I drove my truck and the parking was tight, so drive your little car.

Overall great place, clean inside and quaint. Loved the area and biking throughout town and amazing food. What’s important for others to know about the tree house it’s 5 feet away from the owners home. They live there permanently and we couldn’t enjoy sitting out on the patio below because it was covered in owners supplies.

Spring Escape
This place worked out perfectly for a nice Spring getaway from cloudy upstate New York! My girlfriend and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Perfect size for two folks. Simple, but everything we needed for a relaxing, no frills, beach trip. Short walk to town and even shorter to the beach! Plenty of good beach access and friendly neighbors as well. If you haven't been to St. Simon, I would highly recommend it, and if you can stay at this little gem I would recommend that as well.

I enjoyed my short stay. The house is very eclectic, very interesting. If you are going to stay here however you will need to accept the noise from the metal roof - berries, sticks, and animals, particularly at night ( raccoons?).

Wonderful Couple’s retreat in great location!
We had a wonderful stay at Baby Breezy! The treehouse was just as pictured and was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy some time away from our little ones to kayak around the island. The unit is adorable and in easy walking distance to the beach and several delicious restaurants. This was our first stay on St. Simons and we are enamored with its casual coastal charm. The hostess of the property greeted us upon arrival and gave us some quick tips. Entry into the unit was easy and the parking space was perfect for our SUV and kayaks. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable and a great location to quickly get to several areas of interest. We can’t wait to return for our next trip this fall!

The photos showed a well kept unit outside. The outside was very unkept. The red chair on the porch is broken and my husband was afraid it was going to break into when he tried to get out of it. Perfect Little Treehouse!
This was our first visit to St Simons, for our mini honeymoon, and we loved the little town so much! This little treehouse is full of character and so perfect for just the two of us. The owners live in the main house on the property as well, and are very kind, but keep to themselves, so you still have plenty of privacy. We would love to return someday!
