St Simon vacation
This is a lovely home to stay in while visiting St. Simon's Island. It is close to many parks, the beach and restaurants. Our favorite place was Neptune Park - it is next to the Village. The owner of the property is very helpful and kind. The neighbors are friendly. There is a small park across the street where I took our pup every morning. And the neighborhood is quiet at night. The home is clean.

Great place to stay on SSI
Nice, comfortable and well equipped house that is well maintained and in a central, quiet location. The screened-in back porch with ceiling fans and tv was great and used on a daily basis. Because of its central location it was easy to get to the beach, restaurants and shopping. It all made for a great vacation!

Nice weekend getaway!
We had a wonderful stay at Coastal Haven. The house was clean and well appointed. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog, and the screened back porch made it easy to watch her play. The property is adjacent to Demere Park, which provided a nice walk through the butterfly garden each morning before heading to the beach. We hope to return someday soon!

Quiet Neighborhood

Great Stay
We've enjoyed going to Saint Simons many times. This house is easy to get to, and within 5 minutes of beaches, restaurants, and the best parts of the Island! The house is easily laid out for families, and its location is great for privacy. The house was clean and well-stocked. We loved our stay!

Fantastic house & vacation!
We had the best time staying here. It’s in a great location, very close to everything. Everything was very clean, and comfortable. We took our small dog with us and it was very pet friendly. There is a great screened in patio on the back with a TV, and the yard is completely fenced in. Host was great in communicating with us. We would definitely stay here again

Fantastic Base of Operations!
This lovely home was just the perfect base of operations for our annual girls adventure vacation! So close to both Jekyl Island for an 18 mile cycling experience. Cumberland Island makes a wonderful day trip with lots to offer for any nature lover! Coastal Haven is a short bike ride away from great restaurants and the Barrier Island Brewery! Had a wonderful time at Costal Haven. The house was perfect for my family. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The home was well decorated and very well kept. They Thought of Everything

Just like home
Can’t say enough about our experience on this property. Our first impression when walking into the house was how immaculate and clean beyond any other property we have stayed. The neighborhood is quiet, well tended with a park nearby to enjoy. Location is wonderful, 15 minute to the beach where you can purchase a morning coffee or enjoy an evening libation while the sun is waning into night. Plenty of good restaurants in the area, too…Fiddlers, Crabdaddies, The Crab Shack, Beachcombers, not to mention our new favorite discovery this year, Barrier Island Brewry. The village is a short walk (20 minutes) where you are greeted with more restaurants and shops! Don’t forget to check out the ice cream at the sweet shop! If you are from OHIO, the buckeye ice cream is “to die for!” Our hosts were gracious, unobtrusive, but present. Don’t stay here, if you don’t like perfection! We will be back!

Perfect vacation spot
The home was perfect for our needs. Everything that we wanted was available to us. The location was perfect for our son's wedding venue and for travel around the island. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms provided privacy for my husband and I and my daughter and son-in-law. The owners provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions. When we weren't busy touring the island, we enjoyed playing the board games and cards that were in the entertainment center.

This was an amazing property, just right for my husband, myself and our two adult sons. The screened-in porch was a morning coffee and evening wine, hang-out. The property owner went out of her way to make sure that we had flexibility in our booking as Hurricane Ian threatened to disrupted our plans. Luckily, all was well and we had a great family get-away! We will be back!

Perfect stay (except for the hurricane)
My wife and I visited Coastal Haven this week for our first outing since the pandemic began in 2020 so we were really looking forward to it. We were not disappointed. We’ve had some hits and a few misses over the years with renting beach houses for our vacations. Coastal Haven was a major hit for us. The house sits on a very quiet cul-de-sac and is quite charming and cozy. The interior is nicely done with good furnishings, comfortable beds, and decent bathrooms. One of the nicest features we liked was the screen-in porch on the back of the house. It’s complete with fans, nice rattan furniture, and a tv if you’re bored. It’s perfect for sitting back and reading a good book. All-in-all, we found the place matched the Vrbo listing, was clean, well-kept, and in good repair. It was stocked with most everything you’d normally want to have in a rental like tp, paper towels, etc. This is one of the nicest places we’ve been and plan on coming back for another visit, maybe next spring.

Wonderful, clean home!
We had such a good stay at this house! The place was clean and comfortable, with a nice screened-in back porch perfect for morning coffee. Location was great - a little far of a walk to the beach for our 5-year-old but a really quick trip by car or golf cart. Neighborhood is quiet and close to the village. Owner was responsive. Highly recommend!

Delightful Experience
We stayed for one week with our daughter, son-in-law, 4 year old granddaughter and their dog at this wonderful property. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to the village/pier and many restaurants. Much to our grandaugher’s delight it was across the street from a playground and walking distance to a couple others. We were also minutes from the beach! The house was clean and well appointed. We spent a good part of our stay on the screened in porch which was delightful. The property is located at the end of a dead end street and was very quiet and private. The owners, Dawn and Bob were great! They were very responsive and provided us with a list of restaurants and things to do not only on St. Simons but also for Jekyll Island. When our travels take us back to St. Simons we will definitely book with them again.

Perfect place
The house was perfect for our family. It was close to the beach and close to Main Street with all the shops and restaurants. We rented a golf cart which is the best mode of transportation. We brought our dog with us and she had the whole back yard which was fenced in so I didn’t have to worry about her getting out! They have a cute screened in porch with a tv so family can be close while your grilling out! Everything was awesome about our stay . The only thing I would change would be a bigger bed for the master bedroom. Otherwise it was clean and had everything you needed. So glad I found it! Will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful vacation home on a most special island!
This home was perfect! Dawn and Bob were absolutely amazing, immediately responsive throughout the process, gracious and have thought of everything in this home. My family of two four year old twin girls, husband, my mom and myself spent 3 weeks here (July 10-31). It was amazing to have so much time to hit the pause button on life and take in the fun and beauty of Saint Simons Island and the surrounding area. When I would suggest an excursion or activity it seemed like it was almost a 4 minute drive or 10-20 walk away LOL—that’s how conveniently located the house is! We bought a membership to Neptune Park Fun Zone since we were there so long and it was wonderful to be just minutes away so that we could spend a couple hour there each day and still get to the beach (which was also right there), walk around town or wash up and visit nearby Jekyll! We did so many things while there—-sunrise and sunset walks on the many beaches, shelling, Neptune Park Fun Zone, walked up to the top of the SSI Lighthouse (twice!! My girls were obsessed with the history of the area even at 4!), visited Fort Frederica, Christ Church grounds, the Georgia Turtle Center, the fishing pier, several restaurants (although we used the VERY WELL appointed kitchen and grill most meals—literally everything you need is in the kitchen!) and so much more! We even did a couple trips into Jacksonville to the Zoo twice—once for the Friday night Illumizoo event and once to spend the day—really a very beautiful zoo. We also did a day trip to Savannah and enjoyed a sunset dinner on the decks of Coco’s Sunset Grille in Tybee Island—-it’s really THAT convenient and centrally located. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We had two little girls and my mom on this trip and easily could have brought my two young adult sons and STILL not been in each others way. There’s a beautiful screened in porch (there’s even ceiling fans and a TV out theremy husband spend many an evening out there post dinner enjoying a beverage and his book or a game on TV and I spent many a morning there with my book before breakfast), huge open living room and lovely dining area right off the well-stocked kitchen. My husband has already asked me if I have already booked a return trip for next summer because we enjoyed this trip that much. Wonderful propert
We truly enjoyed our stay. I loved that the property is on a dead end street so no traffic noise. The screened in porch was very nice. The property was clean, had everything we needed and very comfortable. There are lots of choices for eating out. Everyone was nice and pleasant. We loved the fact that we could bring our dog and he enjoyed the fenced in backyard as well.

Great Beach Spot!
Had a great experience at this rental, it was everything we needed to have our big family over for dinner each night and for our family of 6 to relax between beach visits.
