THE SPACE
New for 2024, this home has a backyard oasis-level pool, hot tub, and lounging area. Not all pools are created equal - check out our photos of this unbeatable back yard!

Enter at the side door into the kitchen, which opens to a dining area for 6 guests and family room with a large TV. From the dining area you can also access the screened in porch.

Bedrooms:
* King Suite - Upstairs suite with a king bed, TV, sitting area, dining table and access to the open deck. This suite has an adjoining bathroom with combination tub/shower.
* Queen Room - The Queen bedroom (sleeps 2) with TV, located on the first floor.
* Twins room - two twin beds, TV, and adjoins a shared bathroom with combination tub/shower.

There is also an outdoor shower to rinse of the sand from the day.

We are about a 3-minute walk to Gould’s Inlet located on the northern tip of East Beach. This is a prime location for bird watching, fishing and a great place for soaking in the sun.

Why Stay on East Beach:
The stretch of beach along the ocean side of St. Simons Island is known as East Beach. A quant neighborhood of single-family homes begins at the access point of the U.S. Coast Guard Station at the northern tip and ends at the southern point of Gould's Inlet by access of Bruce Drive, which runs down the center of East Beach. The Coast Guard Station houses the present home to the World War II Home Front Museum.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.

Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.

5-Star Property in Ideal Location

This beautifully appointed cottage met our needs perfectly. Great location right between the marsh and beach. Wonderful magazine-worthy decor. Top 3 bedding I've ever had in a rental property (I'm picky about beds and towels, linens - these were the BEST)! Alex at Lighthouse was super responsive and accommodating with a few special requests that we had. I'd rent here again in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous & Fun Beach Retreat

We loved this property for our beach vacation. Easy walk to the beach & we loved having the pool & putting green to relax at the house. The master has many windows, so bring an eye mask if you need full dark to sleep like I do. Thank you for a beautiful home away from home.

This place is so precious. The two bedroom, two Bath bungalow was perfect for the three ladies’ weekend out. Alex with a lighthouse was very punctual informative and readily available when needed. The house has all of the amenities that are necessary! Very cozy!! Great neighborhood! We would love to stay here next year if it’s available, the location is also perfect close to the inlet, easy drive to other islands…

Perfect in East Beach

We had a place that we would stay every time we have to be in Sea Island…it became our happy place. It was unavailable, so we found this cottage and decided to try it out. This is now our happier place. Everything was pretty close to perfect! Then house itself is beautiful - the outdoor spaces are wonderful and the walk to the water is barely a walk and takes you to the quiet end of idyllic East Beach. Well equipped, comfy beds, beautifully decorated and a lovely neighborhood. We have a new “go to” spot. The owners were incredibly accommodating,,,thank you for everything!

Great House, Great Location

Our family of 4 had an incredible time staying here for our first trip to SSI... it won't be our last. The house is beautifully updated with everything our small family needed. The upstairs suite was a relaxing private space and the downstairs was a great place to hangout as a family. We also took full advantage of the awesome backyard patio space. Best of all was the LOCATION of this house, just a block from the 15th Street Beach Access. The parking lot at this access point is very small and fills up fast, so it was great to be able to walk to the beach. The 15th Street access is on the inlet, which is much less crowded than the main beach. The beach setting & scenery changes dramatically along the inlet throughout the day between high tide and low tide. There are tons of shells, crabs and other critters scurrying around, which was great for the kids. Be careful of the jellyfish however, as more than a few people were stung around us during our stay. The house is less than 10 minute drive to all the best restaurants on the island, but far enough away that there is no traffic or hustle & bustle outside your door. Overall, a GREAT vacation home!

Convenient and Quiet on East Beach

We really enjoyed the property. It's tasteful and spacious for a family of 4-6. We loved the outdoor space and Master in particular. Highly recommend getting a golf cart and parking near the dunes at the beach entrance on 6th street. We didn't discover this until our last day but it's a real value-add.

Great Location-Beautiful Home-Wonderful Outdoor areas

This St. Simon's rental was beautiful online and in person. there is a variety of places for seating from the covered porch exiting the living room, to the upper private deck with seating from the master suite, to the outdoor covered area with more seats, and adirondack chairs circling the firepit area. The grill was amazing to prepare meals. The kitchen was fully stocked. Great LOCATION, just a small walk to the beach access. We rented a 6 seater golf cart and were able to easily travels the roads to shops, restaurants, and the beach with ease of helping carry the chairs, coolers, and items needed for the beach. Although the other homes are close, the trees are grown up so you feel like you're in a private oasis. The neighbors were very kind and had good conversation with them Friday. Will not list their names to protect their privacy. Would recommend this home for a group of women looking for a relaxing get away with minimal noise and lots of fun to be had.
