Thank you for your review. We appreciate the 5 stars and not dinging us for something that is out of our control. The internet works great until it doesn’t. I think everyone experiences outages from time to time at home or while on vacation. Comcast xfinity is our only option and they seem to know it as they don’t respond quickly. Everyone on St Simons Island experiences and deals with the same. We did immediately contact xfinity and they did come fix the issue and it’s working great with fast speed. I wish that somehow the internet on St Simons could operate without fail 100% of the time but that doesn’t happen anywhere. Tom

This review is simply not true and very misleading. The guest stayed for two nights and literally complained about everything in order extort a refund so they could stay for free. This review is what happens when an owner does not cave in to the extortion. All of our properties are kept in extremely clean condition as the over a hundred 5 star reviews indicate.

Thank you for your review. I’m glad you pointed out the quietness of the cottage. If you want loud crowded rentals you should definitely stay close to the beach. To be precise the property is 2.75 miles from the beach which it says in the property description. The internet is normally fast so not sure what was going on during your stay. I wish I would have received your call but I checked and I did have any record of receipting any from your number. As can be seen from many other reviews my wife and I always respond quickly.

Thank you for the kind words. The exterior of the cottage gets washed and bleached twice a year. The second one is coming up. During the summer, with the humidity, the outside can get somewhat dingy which is why it’s washed twice a year. The mattress is a high end mattress and not very old. We put tremendous thought into it when we purchased. Obviously a mattress does not suite everyone’s taste every time but I can say I have never had any guests, out of hundreds, mention it to us or mention in a review. Thanks for your thoughts.

We appreciate your review. However you are mistaken about the stairs not being mentioned online. It is most definitely in the description and there are seven, yes seven, pictures of the outside of the cottage showing the steps. Very unfair to rate our beautiful cottage as 4 star when you obviously didn’t read the description in full nor did you look at all the pictures.
