Luxe hotels in St. Thomas

'I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. The have different options for the lunch/ dinner snacks but again not very family kid...

'We enjoyed the property but didn’t love it. Great set up with two bedrooms, two baths with family room and kitchen. Elevator system is definitely a little strange, food on site is decent but we found better options when venturing out. Staff was friendly'

'Unfortunately underwhelming for our first visit to a Margaritaville. We visited during the sargassum invasion of 26, and wow was there a lot of it. I received notices from the property before our trip, but didn't know there would be that much. Could have looked over that, but the beach was also so eroded, we just pretty much stayed off it. The hotel offered shuttles to other beaches, so that was nice. There is a lot of walking to be had here, and outside the main area, a lot of hillside. Golf...

'First off, we end up killing two flying roaches during our stay. Secondly, the phone was out the entire stay. I had to contact front desk via cell. Thirdly, we had no WIFI the first day. We finally got it the last stay. Also, no cable until the last day. View was nice from balcony. I would also point out that front desk could be more attentive and inviting. Maybe my expectations are too high being a Marriott Owner.'
