'A very nice guest house in a perfect location for the beach front, town centre & local amenities. My room was very pleasant with a comfortable double bed. There was tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, chocolates & biscuits also provided. The staff were very friendly, particularly Sue, the landlady, who was there to welcome me upon my arrival. Breakfast was delicious & cooked to order. I would definitely book again on a future visit. '

'Room (junior double) was ok if a bit rough around the edges, and could do with a refresh though we had a lovely sea view. Good job we are on the smaller side as the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze. Didn't use any facilities of the hotel apart from the breakfast room, and have to say what a good breakfast it was - we didn't need to eat again until the evening! Hotel is well placed for Llandudno Town, pier and the Great Orme. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and we would consider staying here...

'Zeer goed hotel. Indien je een kamer krijgt naast de lift, gelieve onmiddellijk een andere kamer te vragen. Je hoort de lift constant in je kamer. We kregen direct een andere kamer. Goed restaurant, vriendelijk personeel. '

'I have never stayed at the Merrion Hotel before, but, after booking a short break there on Wednesday the 6th of April till the 10th of April, I must say, I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised how very good it was, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, and I am not sure if any other hotels in Llandudno could beat it, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back there again in the near future, keep up the good work Merrion From Mr lewin Thomas...

'Lovely property, clean, well maintained room. Within 10 mins walk of town centre pubs/bars and restaurants. 15 mins walk to Tramway stop for Great Orme and seafront. Similar time to the west shore the other way. Friendly owner and staff, would definately recommend for short stays in Llandudno'

'Great welcome to the property and given advice on offers of where to eat. Room was spacious, outlook was onto car park but we don’t spend much time in there and hadn’t booked a sea view so that was fine. We were given a pass for parking. Short walk to theatre. Nathan is a lovely host, couldn’t have been made more welcome. Well done to him running the B & B on his own.'
