Beautiful location once you get up the drive way. Maintenace on the outside lacking, Deck hasn't seen stain in a long time. Hot tub cover has multiple tears. Key entry instructions confusing. Over the commode rack placed to far forward, causing lid to fall while using. Some of the wash clothes provided where just pain wore out. Patio furniture faded and rusty. Grass not cut.

Perfect for a relaxing weekend!
Booked this property to relax for a weekend with 4 friends. Very close from DC. The property is very amazing, with a great view of the mountains, and unbelievably private, without feeling much secluded. Host is great, and has kept the property very clean, very safe and well provided with anything you can think of as a necessity. Home delivery is available from an Italian restaurant from town, which is great! You can enjoy in a hot tub with a great view and complete privacy while still out in open, which is the best part! There is barbecue area, picnic table under a gazebo, and a great deck around the house, to have dinner with family. Overall, best experience! Tip - I would suggest to plan to get to the property before sunset, as the road to get to the property is little steep in the end to drive for the first time there.

We enjoyed this cabin. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The road in is steep at places and a bit bumpy. Overall, it was a great experience.

This rental was fantastic. I rented this house for a week with my wife and young children and we had a great time. The house is up high on the mountain side and the views from the house are beautiful. The house itself is very new and modern, extremely clean with a open floor plan. The driveway is long and steep but is actually a lot of fun to drive up and down. The property is very private and they have a nice backyard area for relaxing. Tons of wildlife to view and there is a small spring flowing down the mountain side in the back of the property which has a very calming sound of nature. Very close drive to skyline drive entrance and the hiking trails around here are great. We will rent here again in the future.

Super romantic!!!
Had a fantastic time! The driveway is no joke but my Sonata could make it up even with the rain. Host was very helpful and property was very clean. My one comment would be to turn up the temperature of the hot tub about an hour before use. Even with the rain, the views were beautiful and I was able to have the perfect proposal! Will definitely book again when in the area!

Amazing cabin for 3 day weekend in Shenandoah!
Beautiful, clean cabin with amazing views! The hot tub was very relaxing and nice to sit in at nighttime. Nice, responsive hosts! Would definitely return!

What a great getaway! Exactly as described, very relaxing and if you have the opportunity to visit Wisteria Winery 9 minutes away, it was enjoyable as well. Will defintely stay here again!

Fantastic cabin stay!
Lovely cabin, completely stocked kitchen, more towels & sheets available than I have in my own home! Hot tub was so enjoyable each evening after our hiking and motorcycle riding excursions. One suggestion- if possible, try to patch low spots on drive up mountain. Current conditions made the driving quite bumpy, not too bad really, but we have 4-wheel drive. Will definitely stay here again when visiting SNP.

Best cabin ever
If you are looking for peace and quiet, stargazing, bird watching, or just mountain wildlife then this is the place. I’ve seen bunnies and bobcats and bears. Deer, wild turkeys and beautiful birds. If you sit out back away from the front light the stars are amazing and in the summer the lightning bugs put on a show. Ashok, thank you for replacing the hair dryer, that was really nice, and the new panel on the hot tub made a big difference. It was perfect, hot and the jets had great power. Also thank you for all you patience teaching me to book online. Can’t wait till it’s available to book 2024.

It was a GREAT stay. Has a AMAZING view. Everything works, internet, power, refrigerator, stove, and water heater. Has clothes washer and dryer but didn't use. Would be nice if there was a hair dryer, and shampoo's similar to what most places provide. The hot tub is a good size. It worked but it reportedly needed a new control board per the owner, and was limited to 98 degrees. Otherwise, it was hot enough at this temperature, but some like it hotter. The front of the house is lit by what appears to be a street light. So you can see out and around the cabin. I would avoid driving up and down the hill at night until you get used to the road. Driving it in the day light at least gives you a view of the whole road, and it's much easier. However, my first drive up was in the dark, and it's really dark on this road. I would recommend something with a higher ride like an SUV. Our front wheel wheel drive RAV4 with Traction control slipped at the top of the hills. So you need to carry the momentum to avoid possibly not making it up the first time. However, it's not that bad, and they do warn you in the advertisement. If we go back to Virginia we will more than likely consider using again. I found the cabin in good shape overall, and my complaints are minor, but anyone renting should be aware of the road up to the cabin. Once you get used to the road the view makes up for a lot. The owner does warn you about the road in their advertisement. My opinions.

Peaceful vacation home
Felt like our mountain home. The view and location is perfect. Everything is ready to chill. Would love to visit again. The only thing was bed sheet has hair in there. IDK changed or not. But we had our own bed sheet and everything. At last and least, I wish host can provide body wash, if someone does not bring their own, the SPA rule can not complete "take shower before SPA".

Great Stay!
The house was great! The views were amazing! The hot tub was small and there was no swingset like shown in the pictures but overall it was great! We talked about the swingset to our kids the whole ride down so it was a big let down for them when we got there and it wasn’t there. It’s about 20 minutes to the Thornton Gap entrance in Shenandoah. And about 15 minutes from Walmart! Pretty good location!

This was everything we hoped for and the view was amazing. I would stay here again. The deck completely closed in allowed me to feel safe having my toddler run around. It was the perfect size to relax and unwind.

Wonderful peaceful cabin in the hills
If you want to get away from the noise and bustle of city life this is the perfect place for you. Just 17 min drive from Luray which has great coffee shops, restaurants etc. The mountain views are to die for.

Relaxing and nice
Me and my friend were looking to get away and we both enjoyed our stay and will come back again. The beds were both comfortable and the 1.5 baths were clean. Good internet connection if you wanted to do work or surf the web and cell service if you need to stay in contact with others. Of course the hottub is the highlight of the trip! Great view! Its about 15-20 min. to downtown Luray where you can grab a bit to eat and about 25-30 min to the Entrance to Skyline Drive. Walmart is about 20min away for your supplies. You do need to bring your own shampoo and bath soap. But they provide towels and linens. Also no problem going up the mountain in a RAV4 SUV you might need to be more careful on snowy days but we found the road up to the property more than adequate. Will be back again! Enjoy!

Greatly enjoyed our family vacation in the mountains. Property was very nice, private and clean. Driveway to property very steep, doable in an SUV but would be challenging in a car or low riding vehicle. Hot tub on deck with mountain views can’t be beat!

Secluded getaway with great views!
We enjoyed everything about our stay here. House was clean, cozy & quiet! We enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch & evening wine in the hot tub, just enjoying the views & peace. We also found small trail paths around the house to take walks in the woods & down to the creeks. This place really had it all & look forward to our next stay there! Host was super responsive as well, which is always a plus!

Love this house and property!
Absolutely loved everything about our stay. If you want a quiet, clean, comfy, secluded mountain getaway this is absolutely the place for you! We loved morning coffees on the porch overlooking the mountains and valley, evenings in the hot tub, and the crisp cool mountain air. We had no neighbours to disturb us with noise or light which was fabulous. If ever we are back in the US (Virginia in specific) we will be back!! Thanks again!!
