The Space:

Escape to Slate Estate, a truly special A-frame cabin perfectly positioned within the sought-after Twin Arch development in the heart of the Red River Gorge. This charming retreat offers not only a cozy and inviting interior with its impressive vaulted ceilings but also features two comfortable bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms, providing ample space for families or small groups. The main bedroom has a queen bed and the lofted bedroom also features a queen bed. Guests will find additional sleeping accommodations by using the queen sleeper sofa in the living room and twin sleeper sofa.



Step onto the balcony to take in views of the surrounding landscape, or relax in the hot tub after a day of exploring the Gorge. Slate Estate’s convenient location provides easy access to hiking trails, scenic overlooks, and outdoor activities throughout the Red River Gorge. Whether you’re planning active days outside or quiet time in a natural setting, this cabin offers a comfortable and well-situated home base.



Getting Around:

Located just 5 minutes from exit 33 off the Mountain Parkway at the Slade exit. This cabin is close to many local attractions the Red River Gorge has to offer. 5 minutes to Nada Tunnel 7 minutes to the Daniel Boone Coffee shop 8 minutes to Miguels Pizza 8 minutes to Natural Bridge State Park.



Other Things to Note:

RRG Getaways supplies a starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.



- There is a STEEP, paved road getting to this development. 2WD can reach this cabin since the steepest sections are paved. Icy conditions will make this road challenging to navigate.

- Please ensure to enter a VALID and operational phone number into your account/ reservation as all of your information regarding your stay will be texted to your phone. Thank you!

- Pets are not allowed at this cabin and will result in a $200 violation fee.

- We do not provide firewood, charcoal or lighter fluid.

- There is a Keurig coffee maker with a starter amount of pods provided.

- Cell service in the area is good.

- The cabin sits at the top of the Twin Arch development with other cabins nearby.
