The property is in an excellent location, easy access to free bus and downtown Steamboat, nicely furnished.The hot tub is well maintained and we enjoyed it.The master suite is very nice, bathroom is brand new and has a nice closet. The garage is very spacious.However the property is neglected. The owner and the management co. need to do a thorough review of all the appliances.The washer and dryer appear to be fairly new, upon arrival the dryer did not work and the washer was making a noise not usually associated with a washer. The ice maker did not work, nor were we told it didn't work, they there were 2 bags of ice in the freezer. The dishwasher sometimes did not drain.The front porch light did not work, day one we come back from dinner when was already dark, and had to use the phone flashlight.A handymen the next day discovered the sensor that turns on/off the porch light was broken and found the switch for the porch light hidden outside under the roof line. The carpet is in dire need of cleaning. To cover the dirty carpet area rugs were place in some areas.The TV had no instructions at all, it came with 2 remote controls, one clearly mark as MASTER TV, which did nothing. It was trial and error to figure out how navigate the tv. The stove top burners are flimsy and ill fitting, not staying in place.The patio where the hot tub is located had several nail heads sticking out, had to be nailed back in.Overall we were disappointed and frustrated.
