Nieuwer huis op Steinhatchee River, ongeveer 1300 vierkante voet; 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers; 6 slaapplaatsen. Master slaapkamer met queensize bed; kamers zijn voorzien van een tweepersoonsbed in de tweede slaapkamer en twee aparte bedden in de derde slaapkamer. Beddengoed en handdoeken inbegrepen. DISH TV en WiFi. Knipperen beveiligingscamera's. Kinderen welkom; sorry geen huisdieren. Volledig ingerichte keuken, vaatwasser, magnetron en wijn koelkast; beddengoed, servies, bestek en kookgerei voorzien. Volledige wasserette. Toegang tot boothelling, aanlegsteiger, zwembad, vuurplaats buiten. 20-30 minuten trol naar de Golf van Mexico. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid onder huis voor boot op trailer en 2-3 auto's. Great rental house

We enjoyed our stay at Rivers Bend in Steinhatchee. Having our own boat ramp and dock was nice. The house is clean and has everything you need. It is far back in the canal, so just be prepared for a longer boat right out to the scallops.

Wonderful 1st Scalloping Trip

We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of four plus my parents. Quiet locale. Friendly neighbors and Anne was quick to help with me forgetting the code to get in upon arrival! Plus, the HOA responded quickly to a tree that had fallen down on the dock.

Nice, quiet stay in Steinhatchee

Stayed 4 nights during 4th of July weekend to go Scalloping. The house and the location was nice. Very clean. The beds were very comfortable. I slept like a baby every night. Very well stocked with cookware, towels, sheets, etc. The owner was very sweet and responsive! The drive to get to the gulf by boat is a little longer than expected because it’s either no wake or minimum wake. It took us roughly 40-50 minutes. We used the private dock one time which was convenient but went to the public boat ramp the remainder of the trip because it was a very HOT boat ride to have to drive minimum speed in 100 degree weather. The boat wouldn’t fit under the house due to height and we just have a 22’ center console with a T top. I wish the community would put a shade over the pool. I was looking forward to a cool dip after a day in the salt water but the pool water was SO hot it felt like a bath tub. There was a alligator swimming in the river in front of the house so it was a no for us on swimming in the river. 😆 Overall, I give it 5 stars because I would absolutely come back! Next time I’ll be fishing up the river, I heard they have record sized bass!

Red Scalloping House

Had an awesome weekend at this cool house on stilts! All the houses in the community are on stilts, it was cool! Great house layout, very cozy, has everything you need and very convenient to the docks to go scalloping or fishing! We fished out back of the house on the river and that was fun too! The no seeums by the river were intense though! Be sure to wear bug spray! It was perfect for the 6 of us! Would definitely recommend!

Can't say enough good things about this property! Owners communication was exceptional. House was clean and well appointed. Nice, quiet location. Boat ramp being on site was a huge plus, no wait at the public ramp for scallop opener. We will book again!

Spring Break 2023

We stayed for a few days of spring break fishing with our family Plenty of room for 6 people. We did use the boat ramp once and the ride to the marina and gulf wasn’t as long as expected; it was a beautiful ride along the river. The view over the river was nice and the neighborhood was peaceful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Scallop Season

The property, dock, pool, and house was all great. The neighbors don't like the fact the place is rented out. We had several people approach us that we were trespassing. Locals would park there boat in the middle of the dock so there was no room for ours. And would complain about every little thing they could. Other than the neighbors it was a great place to stay!

Fantastic stay!

Exceeded our expectations! Loved the easy check-in/out process and keyless entry keypad. Super clean and well kept home! Ample covered parking and space for our large boat trailer (for 26' boat). Outdoor table and chair set seats 6 just outside the front door. You step into the living/dining area. Open concept, comfortable couch, chairs and dining set. Large full kitchen with everything you need to cook at home. Ceiling fans to keep you cool. Roomy bathrooms with actual towel hooks! Halls have auto nightlights which was a nice extra. Bedrooms have comfy beds and lots of closet space. There is a deck outside the master with a hammock to chill in. Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and night lights. Washer and dryer a huge plus. There was plenty of dock space for our 26' boat, floating dock moves with the tide and a nice ramp to launch. The pool was great and the community was peaceful. The owner is very responsive and quickly helped us when we locked ourselves out of the house! I can't say more good things about this place. We had an amazing family trip and will definitely be back again!

Great River front home

Great location right along the river. We were there to scallop but the local weather and flooding didn't allow that to happen so we made the most of it at the house. 2 nice outdoor porch areas and a community pool gave us alternatives. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. Would absolutely stay here again.

Awesome!

Not knowing anything about the area, we randomly chose this accommodation and our group was very pleased. The small community had everything to keep us busy. Being right on the river, we enjoyed fishing and the pool area was super nice! The house is very clean and offers a fully stocked kitchen. We brought our grill to enjoy cooking dinner outdoors a couple of nights. We will be back!

Great spot

Great location, very clean and updated, very easy! Nice spot on the river with a sidewalk, sitting area, and community dock. Kids had fun fishing and it was close to scalloping but a nice distance away from the marina and restaurants.
