The hotel is just opposite Deal's beautiful beach - if you get a sea view room you'll catch the sunrise. It's not a luxury hotel! - but was functional, clean and a great option for a weekend at a festival in neighbouring town Margate. 'We are a group of 8 ladies enjoying a weekend away and we had a wonderful weekend at Downs Cottage. The property was perfect… comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful decor, superb location, sauna was a bonus and the garden was very pretty. Deal itself was a very welcoming town, friendly people. 'Good for a short stay. Has everything you need, but it’s a rather small room. There’s a folding table and there’s only one chair so you have to sit on the bed. 'Lovely self contained property, in beautiful position right on the Syndale Valley trail and 2 miles from Doddington Gardens, well worth a visit. Property contained every facilitiy required, bath and walk in shower, plentiful hot water and comfy bed.
