  • Welkom in dit meest ontspannende huis voor uw vakantie. Perfect voor vakanties, retraites, vergaderingen, alles wat je maar kunt bedenken.
    Reis slechts 4 korte mijlen van de Bay Bridge naar dit huis met 2 verdiepingen en uitzicht op de Chesapeake Bay. Zonsondergangen in overvloed en voortdurend veranderende uitzichten op schepen, zeilboten, visarend, adelaars, reiger en nog veel meer. Kalm water en sterke wind zijn allemaal mooi om te zien vanaf onze twee niveaus. 12 'x 52' overdekt terras op het hoogste niveau en 12 'x 52' drie seizoen kamer op het bovenste niveau.
    3200 vierkante meter huis vol kunst en kunstzinnige accenten. Open plattegrond op beide niveaus met veel ruimte om te spreiden. Hoofdniveau meester en 2 meesters boven elk met volledige badkamers en een extra ligbad op hoofdniveau. Gastronomische keuken met een groot eiland met plaats voor 6. Een op maat gemaakte eettafel met plaats voor 10.
    Groot zwembad in de achtertuin met een vrij uitzicht op de baai. Zonnebank, lichten en parapluhouders voor een ontspannen duik ongeacht het tijdstip van de dag of het weer.

Family Weekend

The beautiful art-filled home overlooking the Chesapeake Bay was the perfect retreat for our family to attend a weekend wedding and enjoy time together. Our superb host made everything easy.

This is a gorgeous light-filled house in spotless condition with stunning views, comfortable furniture and beautiful art. The gardens are spectacular, the pool is a dream. Everything is first-class in every way including Janet, the lovely and welcoming host.

Janet’s house is amazing. The property and grounds are beautiful, location convenient, and Janet is such a kind and attentive host. And her art collection is fantastic! The photos (while fabulous) still don’t do it justice, it’s that wonderful. I cannot recommend it enough for the perfect getaway.

Everything about the house, property and location was wonderful! The privacy for all was awesome and the gathering spaces were a dream. Amazing view and the pool was perfect and easy to use. Perfect in every way

The property was gorgeous and the host welcoming and lovely. The location and views, spectacular. The house was like a very comfortable museum. The art was gorgeous and every detail was perfect. There was room to spread out and room to be together. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful home

Janet's house is beautiful right on the water and a large heated pool that is bigger than the pictures. Dog friendly and there is a private beach down on the street that the dogs can play in the water and swim. Relaxing and quit neighborhood. Janet helps give recommendations in the area and cab companies

The house has the most amazing view from 2 porches (one enclosed eith AC, the other with adjustable shades) in a very quiet neighborhood. The pool was bigger than expected. There is really interesting artwork throughout the house. The host was so nice and easy to communicate with. The house is also very well stocked which was greatly appreciated.

Amazing Bay House

The photos do not do this property justice. Our family loved the welcoming atmosphere and stunning views of this art-filled home. We had plenty of space and bathrooms to accommodate our multi-generational family in town for a family wedding. The quiet neighborhood was a peaceful retreat and perfect for walking the dogs. The host made sure we had everything we needed during our stay.

Perfect "girls getaway" weekend

We loved this unique & eclectic property. Spacious for a group of 6 on a rainy weekend (we had plenty of different spaces to sit & chat). This house had all the comforts & amenities you could need, including a wonderful kitchen. The host was helpful, friendly and professional. Neighborhood and location were fantastic. And to top it off, we were watched over by a bald eagle all weekend!

Chesapeake Bay Waterfront ARTectural

We stayed at the Bay Waterfront home over the weekend of 10/18/2024. This house is amazing, the owner Janet is lovely. The pictures don't do it enough justice. There isn't a thing that was missing. We had a great time it accommodated us perfectly. There is plenty of room and just perfect. Thank you, we hope to be back.

The perfect jewel of a gateway

This house is a gem. Perfectly located feet away from the water, with gorgeous views of the Bay, Annapolis, and the Bay Bridge from almost every spot in the house. The pictures almost do not do it justice. The fabulous art inside contribute to the unique experience. The place has all the amenities you can think of,. We worked a little and the fast wifi was most welcome. A perfect place in a perfect spot.

Rose's 60th Birthday Weekend

There were 9 of us that stayed at the house. It was a great location being on the bay. The pool was amazing and the addition of umbrellas in the pool was great for providing shade. The kitchen had everything that you would need to prepare delicious meals. We ate all of our meals at the house. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed seating on the front patio in the mornings. The homeowner, Janet, was very friendly, kind and accommodating. She gave me a cake for my birthday, which was a nice surprise. We all found the Art in the house very interesting. We would stay in this house again.

Like having a sleepover in a really cool art museum

We had an amazing stay this past weekend. We enjoyed the architecture of the house and all the details the owner had thought of (like having windows in the walls of the inner bedrooms so everyone has a view of the bay regardless of which room you're in). We also enjoyed walking around the house as if it was a museum. Every time I walked into a room I noticed new artwork. The house was clean, the kitchen is well stocked, and the owner provides linens and towels. She even left bagels and fresh made cream cheese from a local bakery for us on the first morning we were there. We didn't get to use the pool as the weather didn't cooperate but it was actually bigger than I was expecting based on the pictures. Our girls' (or 40 year old mamas) getaway trip was a complete success in big part because of this location. I highly recommend staying here!

Immersion in art and craftsmanship with a view!

The house is wonderful and it was a pleasure dealing with the owner/manager. As we walked under the beautiful winding pergola toward the house, we knew we made the right choice. Walking through in the door, we faced a beautiful view and were happy to be in a really great home. I know, a lot of superlatives, but if you appreciate thought in original art, custom furniture and architectural detail (even if it is not to your taste), this is a great place to stay. Even without all those, the house is excellent. Great kitchen and open area on first floor, non-stop views of the bay and ensuite bedrooms. We were there for a wedding and had six adults in the house but had several more come for a casual breakfast on the day of the wedding. There was plenty of room and all enjoyed. Really nice to be on the bay (a small, very lightly used road is between the front yard and the grassy area on the bay). Nice place to take a walk. Just super relaxing. Highly recommend!

Celebration on the Bay

This home a little slice of heaven on the water. The house was fabulous with so much space to enjoy and fabulous views of the Chesapeake Bay from both the lower and upper porches. Sunsets were gorgeous and osprey were nesting right out in the Bay. The kitchen was super…well supplied with anything one could possibly need and great appliances. The living spaces were perfect, too, as were the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everyone enjoyed the pool with the view of the Bay and most of the family went paddle boarding. Janet Craig was a fantastic host and provided such a warm welcome to us. She was so quick to respond to any of our questions and someone you would enjoy having as a friend. All around the area are wonderful restaurants and stores are close by for grocery shopping. The whole experience was one of the best we have ever had at a home away from home. This was a special surprise birthday celebration and all the family truly enjoyed themselves….great spot for families or for a quiet getaway for two. Can’t forget to mention the absolutely great pieces of art all throughout the home. Most of the paintings were done by Janet’s husband, Robin. Anyone who stays here will enjoy every aspect.

A much needed retreat at a lovely place

My husband and I got the chance to get away for a few days. We found this property and Janet answered our questions very promptly providing additional information and pictures. While there, she also answered questions and made recommendations for local activities and restaurants. We have communicated over the years with many VRBO owners/staff. Janet is at the top of the list. We were also welcomed with a delicious pie upon arrival! The property is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood. Being right on the bay was very relaxing with views of it throughout the house. We spent a great deal of our days and evenings (lights in pool!) in the perfect temperature pool surrounded by lovely landscaping especially the trumpet vines which hummingbirds and butterflies visited each day. The house is very unique with rooms that had varied decor and eclectic artwork throughout, but it still felt very comfortable and inviting. The beds were comfortable with ample areas in the house to relax both indoors and on the front porch. We both appreciated the level of amenities provided with kitchen and bath supplies. You really don't need to bring anything but yourself to this lovely place. Our beautiful stay was just what we needed.

Fourth of July Family weekend on the Chesapeake Bay

This is a beautiful house with a beautiful view both from the front to the Chesapeake and the back yard view of the pool and garden. In addition, it is like staying in an art gallery as on every wall there is wonderful art, much of it made by the owner, Robin. There are also numerous carved wood pieces and furniture that were wonderful. It was a great space for a family get together and the rooms and bathrooms were all comfortable and the architecture and design was first rate. The hostess, Janet, communicated with me before our stay to give me tips for things to do and about the restaurants. There is a nearby farmstand where you can get good produce. Hunter's Fish Market is the place to go for fresh fish. Our dinner out at Libby's restaurant was very good with a great view. The pool was delightful and there is a nearby bicycle trail for exercise. I would recommend this property to anyone.
