Great place except for bathroom downstairs.....
The condo was neat, clean and comfortable for our 4 night stay. However the bathroom for the downstairs bedroom had mildew in the shower and a tile came loose at the bottom. Also the toilet was loose from the floor. The ceiling fan in the bedroom also stopped working the second night. Overall it was a pleasant stay with just these few exceptions.

Below Expectations
I would not stay at this property again. The issues... Fire Alarm went of multiple times for no reason. We called and they sent a tech out who said hed be back with new ones. Never came back, and then we could not get the alarms to beep even when testing. Im not saying they were disabled, but im not *not* saying they were. The bathroom downstairs had tiles falling into the shower with voids behind them and some mold growth behind it. It appears to be an on going issue. The TV in the main room is about the size of an IPAD, the TV upstairs is an old tube TV that half works. This unit is directly across from a Pepsi distribution center and its noisy early in the AM. Overall, this is a budget type rental where the owner invests nothing into it but charges a premium price. We went down with family and had rented 2 other units in the development. Those units cost less and were in much better condition. The community pool was very nice. I would stay in this community again, but not this particular unit.

Overpriced and underwhelmed
The place was clean on arrival, but that’s the only positive thing I can say. The appliances are all in disrepair, and we found out the management company is aware of the problems and did not notify us prior to arrival. This was especially aggravating because our family of 5 packed with the expectation of having access to a washer/dryer that has not been working for months. Additionally, the stovetop only has 2 working burners, the oven door doesn’t close, and the refrigerator leaks water all over the kitchen floor. But the worst part is the whole house smoke alarm that goes off intermittently for no reason. At least 7 times during our stay the ear piercing alarm woke us up, kept us up, or drove us out of the house. And then there were the cockroaches … This property is overpriced and underwhelming.

Great stay for Thanksgiving!
We enjoyed the house during our stay! Parking was right out front of the house. The heated pool was amazing and quiet. We also really loved watching the roasters and hens around the neighborhood! That was definitely interesting to watch. No complaints here. We’ll be back next year!!

Not as good as others in Coral Hammock
I expected that the issues raised in the previous reviews would have been taken care of- but they were not. Washer broken (had to go out to do laundry). Appliances poor, oven door broken, tiles falling out in shower, floor seems warped/ damaged in first floor Bathroom. Refrigerator leaks. Not much in the way of cups/cooking utensils. Burner out on cook top. All of these issues have been mentioned in previous reviews. I called for maintenance and never received a return call. Will not stay here again. Not what I am used to when staying at Coral Hammock. This is my 5-6 stay in complex. First time I have had issues

Poorly maintained
1) refrigerator leaked water daily. 2) floors were dirty and left your bare feet black after walking around on them. 3) no broom and cleaning products there to use. 4) washing machine didn’t work. It wasn’t repaired during our stay because they had to order the parts. So we asked housekeeping to bring us fresh towels midweek but they never did. 5) flooring in a down stairs bathroom had a damaged area the could hurt bare feet.

We have stayed at this complex multiple times, but this was our first time in this particular unit. It was very clean and spacious. Plenty of towels were provided, as well as oversized beach towels, which was appreciated. In terms of location, I prefer to stay in a unit facing the pool. This one faced the road, which wasn't a surprise (accurately described/pictured). With our last minute booking, we were happy to have found this available. Vacasa manages the unit and their customer service was great.

Sisters/Cousins Trip
Property was spacious and in a great location, about a 14 minute car ride to Duvall Street. House does need some cosmetic updating: bedroom TVs should be updated to flat screen, living room TV should be larger, bed skirts and covering should be updated, rug in living room looks worn and dirty, shower curtains need updating, curtain in upstairs twin bedroom is torn. Light fixtures covers on ceiling fans in living room and dining room should be changed from frosted covers to allow more light.

This was a great property to stay at.
The family stayed here while visiting my son who’s currently serving in the Navy. The property was far from the action of Duval street and Mallory square, but close enough to drive. The property was cozy and comfortable for all 5 of us. The kitchen was lacking some basic tools (pitcher for orange juice, coffee mugs, extra paper towels and napkins) and the dining room chairs had loose bolts. But other wise, it was a great stay. We’d definitely stay again.

Perfect location for a fishing vacation
The house was well maintained and convenient for our fishing vacation. The kitchen could be better equipped for cooking but it was workable. Spacious and comfortable accommodations. We will rent again.

Awesome house and location
Only issue was there was a broken tile in the downstairs bathroom which was sharp enough to cut my daughter in laws foot. Easy fix we covered it with a towel. Otherwise fantastic vacation, great house and resort, close to downtown Key West.

Excellent in every way
Excellent accommodations with everything needed. Within a few minutes drive of everything. Pool, clubhouse and grounds are immaculate. Highly recommended and would stay there again.

Beautiful & comfy but roosters kill the mood
The home is beautiful, clean and convenient to Key West. Unfortunately, there are roosters that roam the property and crow at all hours of the day & night. It's near impossible to get a good night sleep. The unit also faces a distribution center off the back patio that contributed to the noise level.

The apartment was perfect – bright sunlight streaming in through many windows. Plenty of space inside and out – I loved the porches! Access to the exercise equipment and a lovely swimming pool made it perfect for our family. We would go out exploring during the day and loved coming home to relax in comfort. We would definitely like to stay here again and enjoy the quirky charm of Key West!

Wasn’t very happy.
The floors downstairs were remodeled but was not installed correctly leaving spaces in between the laminate. The toliet has a prior leak and the floor is weak around the toliet and spongy when you sit on the toliet. The tile is also cracked around it. The carpet upstairs was nasty. It really needs cleaning. There was only one garabage bag. We travel all the time and those kinds of things were provided. The house look like it had a run through cleaning. We have stayed in Coral Before at another house off VRBO with a better experience. Shoanette

We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any inconveniences faced during your stay. Our Local Manager has since checked the flooring and was unable to locate any problems. Often times the flooring in Florida is designed to be "floating," the gaps left by the trim on the floors allows for it to expand and contract with the humidity that Florida sees. The carpet is scheduled to be professionally cleaned and the Homeowner is currently debating purchasing new carpet. The housekeeping staff has been asked to leave extra bags.

Too Much Traffic
The Villa was very nice, clean and in good repair, but the bedrooms and balconies face MacDonald ave which had a constant flow of cars, motorcycles, and trucks pulling into and out of the Pepsi plant, which was right across the street. We found the noise annoying, but others may not. Overall we had a pleasant trip

Not what it appears!!!
This rental is in a nice neighborhood but, poorly maintained. The beds were horrible, bedrooms backup to a main road which is very loud, maintenance never came to fix the living room rv our entire stay, cheaply decorated and furnished for the price, watch your step on the front porch there are nails sticking up, floors and sofa need to be cleaned, the front door key was hard to lock and open which is known by management as they told me to pull it out some to get it to work... I could go on!!! Priced to high for what you get... The pictures of this property make it look nicer than it is. If you are looking to go to Key West from here Lyft was $40 round trip... Add this to your nightly rate.

Very nice home in a gated community with a shared pool and work out center.
The home was beautiful! I loved the fact that it has three bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. The bathrooms were wonderful and roomy. I loved the upstairs balcony off my bedroom and the large sunken bathtub in my bathroom. I would have given it 5 stars except the mattresses were creaky and the pillows need to be replaced.

Not the best in the community.
Not as good as the other houses I have stayed in this community. Said newly renovated but furniture is outdated. Many of the curtains are broken. The windowsill in the 2nd bedroom is broken. Doesn't have a grill like all the other houses we have stayed at in Coral Hammock. There was limited stuff to cook with comparatively. The house just needs a little work.

Fabulous, beautiful and uneventful
Beautiful property, great communication via email. I appreciated the local contact info for after we checked in. Publix nearby. A couple of things- one room has twin beds- I missed that when I looked at the property, no BBQ grill-bummer, and this gated community also has a locked fence around the pool. Don't forget to bring your Key!! And remember the chickens- the roosters are crowing bright and early- signature of Key west- they bothered some of the people staying at this property, but not everyone. Otherwise, great place to stay- not far from the action.

Not quite, not comfortable, not recommended.
Bed, mattress, bed sheet , pillows are not comfortable at all. After 2 days stay we all stated having back pain, also there is lot of noise from outside not a quite home at all. This is road side house and busy street you can hear vehicle's noice all day and night. Also in early morning (3am) rooster will start shouting is cherry on top. We paid 900 bucks for just 2 night this house is not worth that much of money.

Coral Hammock
Was disappointing. This is our second stay at a condo in this gated community and I can say that it was very disappointing compared to our prior stay. This condo is very dated and not very warm and inviting. Towels were limited, no coat hangers, and we had to request folding chairs to accommodate the group of 6 adults so we could all sit together at the table. Although the Property Manager quickly got us coat hangers and two additional chairs, no additional towels were given for a 7 day stay. We had to wash towels every other day. The rugs in the bathrooms and kitchen were very dirty, there was mold in the shower and gunk around the bathroom sink fixtures. You could visibly see dirt around the trash can in the kitchen and the dirt and dust on the door to the storage closet in the kitchen was horrible. We really like and enjoy this gated community and would stay again, just not this property.
