Great stay in Stockton Springs, beautiful home base to explore the coast in either direction , loved the night sky full of stars & visiting various lobster pounds up and down the coast.

Perfect location

Spent a weekend in this beautiful rental. Wish we could have stayed for a week! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plus it was a short drive to French’s Point where my cousin had her wedding. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent cottage near the coast! The central location allowed our vacation travels to expand the entire Maine coast! We loved Stockton Springs and hope to visit again!

Beautiful house with the perfect location

The house was great for my whole family! Very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our almost week long trip. So close to Sandy point beach and French’s point for the beautiful wedding we attended!

Had a great stay here with my family. The cottage was nicely renovated and clean. It was very close for a wedding we went to at French’s point. The loft is set up super cute with shelves with children’s books and games and even has a trundle bed. It does get a bit warmer up there as there are just wall units in bedroom for AC, as a heads up.

Beautiful cottage with a view of the river. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you need to make a ‘home’ cooked meal. The beds were all very comfortable and the linens were clean and fresh. We enjoyed the various books and games provided. The quick 1-2 minute drive to the beach was the cherry on top, especially for the kids in our group. We would love to come back someday.

Lovely cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Stockton Springs. The cottage is really wonderful with a nice view. The host, Doug is really kind. We can't ask better then that. Thank's to share this lovely cottage with us.

Peaceful stay

We loved staying here as it was quiet and completely met our needs. The kids loved the games available to play and running around in the yard. The home was very well stocked and the online description was very accurate. The house was incredibly clean and the beds/pillows very comfortable as well! If you are looking for a great getaway in Maine, do consider this location!

The house is very cute and clean. It has everything you need. The pictures are exactly what the house looks like. It’s awesome! It has a great view of the water. We enjoyed Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and the beach. It was an amazing vacation.

Beautiful, Sunny Home Tucked Away in the Woods!

We needed a convenient location to stay while attending a wedding weekend at nearby French's Point. We could not have found a lovelier, more comfortable, more convenient place to spend three days than at this beautiful home.Doug was a delight to work with: he was responsive to all our inquiries. We were advised by a friend familiar with the Stockton Springs area to make our reservations early. We're awfully glad we did. We would have hated missing out on this truly perfect place.

Beautiful, secluded spot with amazing views

House was even better than advertised. Spotless, well-appointed, and the perfect layout for our family. Quiet secluded spot that allowed for easy day trips to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Enjoyed evenings around the fire pit outside and reading on the porch with views of the water. You won't regret this one!

We would give this an 11/10 if I could! This house was perfect for our family's first trip to Maine. The location was ideal for us to spend multiple days in the Acadia region to the north and exploring Rockland and several points of interest and towns to the south. SUPER clean, bright and cheery, and comfortable. Bonus: We work to the sunrise each morning over the water, our teens liked the frisbee golf goal in the backyard, and nearby Sandy Point Beach is a beautiful spot with friendly people.

This was a fantastic property. We were pleasantly surprised with the overall cleanliness and organization that welcomed us when we arrived. The house has everything you need and it was extremely well equipped. Bonus, there are extraordinary views! It was very comfortable for our family! The pictures of this property certainly don’t do justice to how beautiful this place is.

Cozy with beautiful view!

My family enjoyed 3 nights at the beautiful cottage at Sandy Point. The home itself is absolutely beautiful with every comfort of home. The view of the river was just lovely and the sunrises were incredible. Our teenagers (16 & 14) loved having the bottom floor to themselves. It was wonderful to be able to have a home cooked meal too. The owners have thought of everything. We will definitely be back if we find ourselves in Maine.

Spacious and Gorgeous Getaway with So Much to Explore in the Area!

It was an amazing stay, with more than enough room for the 5 of us. Also, we loved the location. Not too far to Bangor, not too far to Arcadia and the beach minutes from the house was beautiful! We were really sad that we did not book a longer stay here, we didn't even get a chance to enjoy the firepit with the beautiful view. Lastly, the property has the best host/owners! They made sure our stay went perfect and all of the guidlines were simple to follow for check-in & out, they even left us a welcome note with some delicious cookies. It was so sweet, thank y'all for such a wonderful experience! We look forward to coming back when we get a chance.
