Welcome to the cozy house on the hill. The house offers everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday with family and friends. Here there are beds for 8 adults and also cots and highchairs for those of you with small children.

Why not start your day with a 400 meter walk to the beach for a morning dip from the jetty. Then continue with a lovely breakfast in the sun on the balcony and watch the squirrels that live in the trees next door. Enjoy a coffee and plan your day.

Take the opportunity to show and teach the children where vegetables and root vegetables come from in the lovely greenhouse and in all 20 pallet collars on the grounds. Tomatoes, chilies, jalapeños, cucumbers, potatoes, carrots and lettuce are offered here. Why not pick some raspberries, blueberries and strawberries for your breakfast or for dessert which can be served on the terrace in the evening and in the evening sun.

Settle down on the 60 square meter terrace to continue planning your day and dinner. Should anything be forgotten for dinner, there are shops just a short 10 minute drive away.
The outdoor kitchen is perfect because several people can help each other with dinner and the grill is close by.
After dinner, you can bubble in the pool and at the same time watch the sunset between the big oaks.

In the evening, you can relax on the sofa and enjoy the AC and watch your favorite series on TV or why not leave the patio doors open and listen to the birds and maybe spot a deer that usually sleeps on the grounds.

In winter, the snow that lies in its silence will probably come and then it is extra cozy to light the fire in the wood stove, bake something good and enjoy the silence, the darkness and lots of lit candles. As an excursion, you can take a walk down to the lake and go ice skating, grill sausages and drink hot chocolate. At Christmas, of course, the tree must be dressed before Christmas Eve and the stars hang in the windows. Santa usually finds his way to the house on the hill and takes care of the Christmas presents for you.

Regardless of the season, in this house you can enjoy silence and nature in a perfect location by Lake Mälaren.

Things to see and do in Strängnäs and the surrounding area

In late summer, the forest next door is perfect for picking blueberries, lingonberries and chanterelles and lots of other different kinds of mushrooms. Enjoy autumn colors on the leaves and lovely walks on the dirt roads. Fishing is something that is very popular in this area. Fishing rods are of course in the house if you feel like being a bit spontaneous.

In autumn, various events take place in central Strängnäs such as flea markets, events and the incredibly popular large Strängnäs Market.
The neighboring village arranges a Christmas market in December, which is popular, as well as many other Christmas markets that take place in Strängnäs municipality in December. For Lucia, Strängnäs cathedral is a must as concerts by various artists are on the schedule.

If you want to travel around Sörmland, Mariefred and its wonderfully stately Gripsholm castle is a must. Other nice excursion destinations are Sundbyholm outside Eskilstuna, while it is also close to Stockholm if you want the pulse of a big city. The Sörmland area offers an incredible number of different events and flea markets in the summer that you really don't want to miss.

Weekly rental, Sunday to Sunday during high season but can be available for shorter rentals upon request.
Bed linen and towels are available for rent for SEK 200 per set
Final cleaning can be ordered for SEK 1,500
2 pets are welcome to accompany you on holiday
Deposit SEK 1500 which is refunded if the house is left in proper condition.
