'The location is good, by the river, although it’s next to a 60mph road so cars rushing by are heard throughout the night. On the booking page there were pictures of a fairly new, cute round wooden ‘pod’, which would suit the name Glamping pods as advertised. The pods were actually present on the premises and looked really charming. We were very disappointed to find that our ‘Glamping pod’ was in fact a garden shed with double doors, which stood at an angle, had a weird combination of old beds...

'This is a great cabin in the woods and in the middle of the Highlands. A lot of tourist attraction are near by, so the location is great. Facilities are ok. Bed and shower is good. 'Property was good value, bed very comfortable. Nice warm house. Shared kitchen / livingroom very clean and modern. When I arrived there was mould around base of shower so I put bleach on it and cleaned it, This should have been done by cleaner. The electric shower needs replaced as its intermittent. 'The flat was clean, well provided for, and had nice touches supplied by the host. The location was excellent as easily walkable to the city center, the river, bridges, and other attractions and restaurants. For light sleepers note that the bedroom fronts the A82 with heavy traffic, including lorries, during the day and less so through the night than perhaps preventing open windows to muzzle the noise. '

'The apartment is great size, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It is very close to the bus and train stations so if you are traveling without a car if is super convenient. It is in the heart of the city. As a note, we parked our car in the Old Town Rose Street parking garage by the bus station. It allows overnight parking and we always found a parking space. It was 9 for a 24 hour period although our car was never parked that long.'

"The hotel has a good location and decent rooms, but our stay was marred by several issues. Our shower was broken upon arrival, leaving us unable to shower for a full day. We had to build makeshift water barriers with towels to prevent flooding. Service at the front desk was poor. Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and when we asked about it, staff falsely claimed we had declined housekeeping, which we hadn’t. The elevator smelled strongly of vomit throughout our visit and was never addressed. After the shower was finally repaired, no one informed us or followed up, and there was no apology for the inconvenience. The breakfast area often felt unclean — tables were sticky, and between 8:00 and 9:00 it got overcrowded quickly, with food items running out fast."
