Huoneen kalustus kaipaisi uudistamista, muuten ok ja valoisa kulmahuone neljällä! parvekkeella. Henkilökunta oikein mukavaa, ystävällistä ja avuliasta.

This hotel is not a good place to stay if you want freedom on your holiday. I like to start my day early for a jog or walk at 5am with the sunrise. However, when I did try to leave the hotel the front was locked. I asked the manager why it was locked. His response was: The front door is locked till 7am and you cannot leave before. If I do want to leave, I could ring the bell and wait for someone to open the door. However, I wouldn't be allowed back in till 7am". I asked for a key, but he said they only have 1 key. Absolutely ridiculous. This was more like a prison than a hotel. Plus the door closes at 1am, so if you want to stay out late you can't get back in. I was very, very restricted and quite annoyed at the attitude of the manager. It dampened my stay there. I was also disappointed with the room. When booking this hotel, all the photos of the double room advertised with a lake view. It was very deceiving. The balcony backed onto another hotel of which you could see into their rooms. The lake view was at the corner of my eye. Nothing like the photo. The room was tired and plain. No fridge, which when staying somewhere hot is important. If you want a quiet stay, this hotel is NOT the place. It is on the main road and in the town. But I knew this would be the case, so I wasn't surprised by this. The breakfast is not great. No eggs, no tomatoes, no cucumber, no cut bread or toast. The thing was the power shower.

Hotel zentral gelegen. Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück mit sehr guter Auswahl. Zimmerausstattung gut, aber z.T. nicht sehr geräumig.

Emplacement parfait. Juste en face de l'embarcadère et au centre de la zone touristique (restaurants ; magasins...). Mais obligation de prendre un parking payant (avec tarif négocié par l'hôtel). Pas vraiment de vue sur le lac depuis le balcon. Wifi parfois capricieuse. Petit déjeuner un peu juste concernant la partie "salée".

Accueil nul. Les patrons devraient apprendre l'école d'hôtellerie des les premiers cours. On se croirait dans une caserne ! Heureusement qu'ils comptent sur la masse touristique pour remplir le compte en banque. En résumé à éviter.

L’hôtel est idéalement situé. Proche du départ en bateau pour se rendre aux îles Borromées, proche du centre ville pour aller se restaurer et visiter ce joli coin. Chambres simples et très spacieuses avec un petit balcon ! Pour se garer sur le parking (juste en face : place publique) l’hôtel donne un ticket à 10€. Accueil du personnel et petit déjeuner correct. Je recommande cet hôtel !

Ideal location, in front of the Ferry station and the lake promenade and few steps to everything like restaurants and shops. A simple walking distance from the train station . Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Very clean rooms and facilities. A perfect choice for a relaxed vacation.. I spent with my wife a weak and enjoyed every minute .. We would go again to the same hotel if we decide to go to Stresa again.

De prime à bord cet hôtel semble moyen, pour autant même si l'ambiance est datée, il est d'une propreté irreprochable et idéalement situé, notament pour la visite en bateau des 3 iles, et des restaurants. Le petit déjeuné très correct se prend derrière de grandes baies vitrées avec vue sur le lac. Le personnel est à l'écoute, et accueillant. Le parking (n'appartient pas à l'hôtel) situé juste en face de l'hôtel permet de garer sa voiture pour 14 euros par jour.

A Happy Family stay
This hotel is convenient to stores, restaurants and other tourist goodies. The staff was more than pleasant and helpful. Our room was ready for us before we even got there!

Receptionist at check in was unfriendly. Couldn’t even be bothered to look at me. She improved somewhat over the course of our five night stay but was not helpful. We actually got help with restaurant recommendations from a coffee vendor on the street. Breakfast was boring - the same items. We had the same stewed prunes served for three straight mornings and the same cake. The other two mornings we got canned mixed fruit.

The hotel is in a great position, as the lake side is across the road where you can get on the boats for day trips. The train station is about a 15min walk away. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good. The rooms are very clean and some have views of the lake. It gave us everything we needed for a week of sightseeing. If you have a problem with stairs, ask for a room on the first floor, where there is a lift. I would recommend.

Perfect location, good hotel
We had a lovely stay in the Hotel Italie Et Suisse. The location is perfect, close to the lake boats for exploring the Borromee islands, approximately 1 minute!. Plenty of restaurants very close by. The staff here were great, always welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good, fresh croissants and coffee every morning to start the day. The young lady and man who greeted you and prepared your hot drinks were lovely. The hotel was very clean. Our room was lovely, at the front overlooking the lake. My only comment would be it was a little dated and was in our opinion in need of updating. The shower is great, love a 'power shower'. we enjoyed a lovely stay, thank you all.

The location very good. For the price and hotel rating not a 3 star property. Lucky to be 2* Room needs a total update, our room was nothing like the photo The beds need upgrading collapsing in the middle. The blankets very old and well used, sheets never changed in the 4 nights stay very disappointed. The towels very hard and worn at the edges need replacing. Balcony needed a good scrub ,moss and dirt everywhere. Room small No tea or coffee making facilities. Heating put on only at the owners discretion and the other form heating or cooling was locked so could not use. Could have more breakfast supplies very basic, no eggs or bread for toast. They only offered hard small bread rolls or croissant no other pastries.

A well appointed, if rather dated hotel. Room was clean with no frills. Breakfast was good but basic. Staff were friendly and helpful and speak good English. Position is ideal for exploring the lake.

We were not impressed with the condition of the beds. Not comfortable at all. Breakfast was not adequate, i.e. no toaster and no eggs boiled or otherwise. Staff in the restaurant were good.

L'hotel si trova di fronte all'imbarcadero e a pochi passi ci sono fermate di bus che portano a diverse località turistiche nei dintorni. Personale educato ed efficiente. Buona la colazione, c'è scelta a sufficienza. Camere ampie e luminose, noi avevamo 2 finestre e 2 balconcini. Ampio anche il bagno, dotato di finestra. Forse l'arredo per qualcuno può essere un po' vintage, ma c'è tutto quello che serve per un soggiorno gradevole. La pulizia è ottima. Come spesso mi capita di ripetere, le prese per ricaricare i vari smartphone e tablet potrebbero essere più numerose e magari più in vista, ma non è la fine del mondo, basta viaggiare portandosi dietro una presa multipla.Per chi sceglie la mezza pensione, è giusto precisare che la cena si consuma in un ristorante convenzionato molto vicino all'hotel, la cui proprietaria è simpaticissima, e si pagano a parte solo le bevande (per niente costose). Nel complesso un hotel onesto, dove si spende il giusto, si soggiorna gradevolmente e situato in posiziona davvero strategica. Non è nemmeno lontano dalla stazione, per chi sceglie di viaggiare in treno. Lo consiglierei.

Staff were wonderful. I regret requesting a room at the front with a lake view - it was too noisy up until 11pm with traffic and local restaurant entertainment and then early in the morning with rubbish collection and street traffic - AVOID ROOM 2
