There are some wonderful walks nearby, however a word of caution, don't try to drive unless you have an AWD or 4WD as the roads are gravelly and full of ruts.'

'Sure! Here's a shorter version of the review:---A Secret Place to Slow Down lives up to its name, quiet, cozy, and beautifully set in nature. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and incredibly relaxing. Close enough to Gloucester’s attractions but tucked away enough to truly unplug. The hosts were kind and attentive. A true hidden gem, we can’t wait to return!'

'Accurately advertised which was greatly appreciated. The tiny home itself was extremely clean and well laid out, and had some beautiful, thoughtful inclusions inside. What looked like a dam in the photos turned out to be a pool in a water course and was the perfect spot to be. Once the sun got low it felt private enough for us be comfortable and feel alone out there which was exactly what we wanted. 'Beautiful property in a beautiful location.Plenty of firewood to warm us inside and outside by the generous firepit. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed to cook for all 8 adults.We enjoyed our stay tremendously'

'Alan and Eva were so lovely and kind during the stay. They were very accommodating and helpful! My friend and I had an amazing time staying here, watching the sunsets and sitting by the campfire. Lovely place to unwind and have a weekend off in nature. We got to see the cows and the lovely views around the farm. The cosy off-grid cabin felt like a home away from home. 'The property is in a central location in the town of Dungog. Next to a supermarket which is handy. I did not realise the bathroom was outside of our accommodation and that there was no running water/sink in our room. It was also very musty and airless. There were no flyscreens to open windows without mosquitos and insects coming in. It was tricky to understand where to enter the property, however the owner helped with this.
