We enjoyed our stay in this charming hotel in sucre very much. Cute patio and nice rooftop terras! Good breakfast and friendly staff as well. Would definitely recommend this place!

Hotel with great features and nice views
We had a beautiful room with a great view on the white church nearby. The bed and bathroom were fine. Diner in the hotel-restaurant could be better, including the service.

Maravilhoss e super bem localizada
Muito bem localizada, fica no coração da cidade. A casa é linda!! É do século XVII!! Super bem conservada. O café da manhã nao gostamos muito, pois estranhamos a comida deles. Refeição no hotel só café, mas tem vários restaurantes super pertos

This 300 year old building was absolutely lovely. There is a great view of the city on the rooftop. Lots of great seating areas on the property. The rooms were very big, we were four and had plenty of space. Would highly recommend staying here.

After a long bus ride, arriving at Hotel Su Merced was everything I needed. The staff is super attentive, kind and always looking out for you. We checked out at 11am and left our bags at the hotel until 5pm no questions asked. The hotel did our laundry for a great price and the clothes were ready the same day! I'd definitely stay here again!

The Best Hotel in Sucre to stay at!!!!
The hotel was absolutely perfect!!!!!! The location couldn’t have been better & more suitably located. The place looked amazing! The courtyard, outdoor space & roof Terrance just so calm, serene & pretty. The continental breakfast was ample & housed in a beautiful old banqueting hall & my room was just truly immense! The staff kindly gave me a truly stunning suite in the top floor with a super comfy bed, bath & views across the city to die for!! I really can’t recommend the hotel more highly which was priced very reasonably for what you get and Raoul, the hotel manager just sooo unbelievably friendly & helpful! This hotel IS the perfect and only place I would want to stay at again.

Very nice people at the reception, they speak English, Nice hotel in a quiet zone but not far away from the main square, only two blocks. Nice big room, only what I do not like personaly is the old furniture but some people like it. I always like everything new.

Como para volver a Sucre siempre...
Este es un lugar muy acogedor donde uno se siente como en casa desde que uno llega. Mi habitación era preciosa, con detalles y muebles muy bien seleccionados. Todo el personal con el que tratamos era muy amable, las personas de recepción nos aconsejaron y nos ayudaron a planificar nuestras visitas, sus recomendaciones eran interesantes. El desayuno excelente, Sabor casero, variado y completamente fresco y natural.

En lo general Bueno, desayuno muy bueno, no tiene estacionamiento propio y solo atiende el garaje hasta las 22:00. si no llegas tu auto queda afuera.

A colonial jewel!
What a delightful hotel! I could not have picked better. The owners and staff were all extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. I was fortunate to go to the top terraces of the hotel with uninterrupted views of the towers of the Iglesia de San Felipe Neri, the domes and roof of the Iglesia de la Merced and the hills and mountains beyond. The room was spacious, charmingly furnished with characterful old furniture, lamps, small chandeliers and having large windows for light and air. The bathroom was also spacious with a forceful shower and lashings of hot water. All the public areas of the hotel, the dining room and reception were similarly attractively furnished, the interior courtyard was very pretty with many sitting areas surrounded by flowers, on the second floor and roof top, great for sunsets. Breakfast was very good with ripe pineapple, melon, papaya and mixed fruit, very good orange juice and coffee and a large choice of home made cakes and quiches. Fried and scrambled eggs were always available to order.

Front desk staff not overly friendly, avoided eye contact 80% of the time we re-entered the hotel, decor was super dated and looked like it needed a good overdue clean! Double bed was a single size and rigid, 2 singles if you’re a couple is highly recommended. Breakfast was poor and full of desserts, and the noise from the adjacent school started from 8am

Nice hotel, vfm, close to the centre.
The breakfast was great. Plenty of fruit, bread, rolls, cheese, meat etc, and eggs of your choice. The rooms were comfy, spacious and light but with one exception - don’t take the room next to the garage (dark and awkwardly shaped), ask for a room on the terrace - the view over the city is great.

Excellent accommodations and excellent staff!! Every single receptionist, kitchen staff, housekeeping and every staff were superb. Unfortunately the only names I remember were Cider, Geisha and Siria but everyone was superb. Only planned on staying for 1 night but ended up staying for 5 nights. One of my favorite accommodations in the 44 countries I've visited!

Vá que não tem erro!
Indico muito o Hotel de Su Merced. Dentre as opções, não era a mais cara, porém atendeu melhor do que outras opções que custavam mais. Falo isso porque estávamos em um grupo de 8 pessoas e ocupamos 4 hotéis diferentes, inclusive mais caros. Dentre todos, segundo os relatos dos colegas, o de Su Merced parecia o melhor. O pessoal da recepção era muito simpático. A Síria, em especial, conversou muito comigo e me deu excelentes dicas. A equipe deixava água em uma jarra nos quartos, o que achei de muito bom tom, um carinho e tanto. A construção é belíssima, limpa, e o café da manhã é ótimo, num ambiente super confortável e com boa música clássica. Um momento bem relaxante e agradável para iniciar um dia de trabalho. Em suma, um excelente custo/benefício com muitos toques de bom gosto.

Charming, great staff, great value
All in all I enjoyed staying at the Hotel de su Merced and recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property and furnishings are a little old, but that is part of the hotel's charm. The breakfast was great. They clearly put a great deal of effort into it. I had no complaints and would stay there again. Very good value for money.
