'Het hotel is wat gedateerd, maar de kamer was keurig netjes en heel belangrijk: we hadden een HEERLIJK bed. De kamers zijn verschrikkelijk gehorig, maar dat komt waarschijnlijk omdat het hotel wat gedateerd is. Er is niets om je aan vast te houden als je het bad in- en uit stapt om te douchen. Voor ouderen kan dit zeer zeker een probleem zijn.'

'The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. '

'Staff were very nice and helpful. I stayed for 9days and can not fault them. Whenever I need something you only need to ask. Very helpful and excellent service from kitchen to front desk and the cleaner who helped open my door as I had so many stuff on hand. It’s a shame I didn’t get all their names. But all in all 10/10💯'

'Super stay - high quality furnished room, and quiet late on, despite the vibrant atmosphere at the adjoining pub. Only thing I could perhaps find fault with would be the high tog rating for the duvet (which made for a rather warm night !)'

'This place isn't a hotel in the traditional sense, more like a bar / restaurant mainly open for 'hotel' guests but don't let that put you off, it's a great place to stay. Very friendly atmosphere, staff can't do enough to help, food is excellent and rooms are quiet and comfortable. It's my preferred place to stay when I'm in the area.'

'We stayed at the farmhouse because we were attending a wedding at the hotel 2mins away- on arrival we were greeted by Peter, friendly and welcoming, a working dairy farm so fresh milk in the room, a good selection of teas and complimentary biscuits.

'Stayed for a three nights at this cottage, it was lovely! Right in the countryside, surrounded by amazing views and only a short 10min drive to Alton Towers. Perfect for a family of three with everything you need for a short or long stay. Great location! Will definitely stay again! 😆👏 '

'My mum and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. It’s set around a beautiful, tranquil courtyard garden with a Koi fishpond. The room was lovely, clean, fresh and quiet. The owner is adorable, friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us including a last minute room change to a family room. I will definitely be staying here again. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.
