The host was great very responsive. This place was awesome very relaxing it has everything you would need. Towels, toiletries, coffee, grill, Netflix, YouTube tv, hot tub, grill, cool pole barn with pool table, darts, and other games. I highly recommend this place you won’t be disappointed. The property, and surrounding area is beautiful, and we'll set up, to give each rental privacy. The yurt was clean, and well stocked with essentials for our stay. Communication all the way through was excellent. The hot tub was an amazing way to start and end our days. Well definitely recommend staying here, and return some day!

This was quite possibly one of the best finds we've ever enjoyed from VRBO. The yurt was exceptionally clean and well decorated. Posh, even. Every little thing was taken care of. The staff was so attentive and we were given some of the best service we've ever had in the 30 years we've been vacationing together. There were so many special touches such as the constellation light for the ceiling at night. It really was stunning. The hot tub was spacious and secluded. The shower was divine - including amazing water pressure. The electric fireplace was so romantic to have going in the evenings. From hardwood floors to a chic boho decor, this place was a 5 out of 5 stars. I would have no hesitation recommending Hillside Retreats to anyone. Matter of fact, tell them we sent you.

The ambiance was both rustic and luxurious, providing the perfect blend of nature and comfort. Our host was exceptional, maintaining excellent communication with us from start to finish. They provided several fantastic recommendations for local breakfast and dinner spots, ensuring we experienced the best of what the area has to offer. Their attentiveness didn’t stop there; with occasionally checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. The location was ideal for our hiking adventures, with convenient access to the stunning trails of Hocking Hills. After a day of exploring, returning to our cozy yurt was the perfect way to unwind. We highly recommend Hillside Retreats to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing place

This yurt was everything I hoped for and more. My husband and I wanted to get away for our anniversary and this place did not dissappoint. The customer service was excellent, from check in to check out. We ran out of coffee and alissa from Hillside Retreats doordashed us coffee and chocolate! We will definitely be back.

13th wedding anniversary

We had the best day. Everything was exactly as the photos showed. The host checked in on us via text and was super nice. The hot tub was wonderful, there were board games, Alexa, hook up for music, awesome grill. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our weekend at Hillside Retreat. The Yurt was adorable and the hot tub was amazing! The game room was so much fun too! Loved playing shuffleboard and darts! Loved the cute little happy anniversary touches that were there for us when we arrived. Also appreciated the tips on where to eat in the area! We will definitely be coming back!

Birthday weekend

My partner surprised me for my birthday with a trip to stay at the Yurt. Housekeeping helped him put flower petals on the bed, and provided chocolate dip, strawberries, and roses. The place was beautiful! Everything was so clean and well maintained, including the hot tub. The game room had many activities and games for everyone. Will definitely be returning. Perfect weekend away!

We had an awesome time at the Yurt, It was very clean and private. Had a problem with a leak however the owner refunded some of our money. We had a blast at the game room, AKA pole barn and we plan to go back again! This was a lovely experience. Was even able to get the OSU game on the TV. We will go back for sure!
