Millhart Family Lodge & Rec Center offers a unique combination of overnight lodging, indoor recreation, and gathering space in the heart of Ohio’s Amish Country.

Designed specifically for families and groups, the property provides space to stay together, relax together, and celebrate together in a peaceful country setting.

One of the property’s standout features is the climate-controlled indoor recreation spaces, allowing guests to enjoy activities year-round regardless of weather conditions.

-Full bathroom on main level; half bath on lower level

- 4 guests on the main level and 6 guests on the lower level

Millhart Family Lodge is ideal for groups seeking a comfortable, activity-focused gathering place where guests of all ages can stay engaged and connected throughout their visit.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the gym, game room, living space and designated outdoor spaces. There is another home on the property, please respect their privacy and do not play in their yard. Part of the building is a barn on the lower level. Those spaces are not for guest use, are not pictured in any of the indoor spaces and are locked.



The Neighborhood:

We are located 1 mile north of Sugarcreek off State Route 93, a 15-minute drive to the Berlin and Walnut Creek area, famous for Amish Country Shopping, but out of the high congestion area with fast access to Dover and New Philadelphia. Multiple breweries and wineries are less than 15-minute drive.

Norma Johnson Center and Dundee Falls are both great family hiking location less than 10-minute drive from us.

Millhart Family Lodge is located just 2 miles from downtown Sugarcreek with multiple dining options including Bags Restaurant & Park Street Pizza (delivery available) plus the World’s Largest Cuckoo Clock! See the German figurines play every 30 minutes (weather permitting).

In town for a wedding at one of our local venues in Sugarcreek, Millersburg, Dover or New Philadelphia? We are a 15-30 minute drive from many venues, let us know which one you are attending and we can give you mileage and time to that location.

We share a google map of local suggested attractions, activities and dining with our guests but are available to help with your unique plans. Just let us know what you are looking for!

Looking for a company to provide your transportation around the area? Contact Beer & Ale Traveler in advance! Rick Mason provides a 14-passenger bus for any type of touring in the area.



Other Things to Note:

Guests will be required to complete an ID Verification to secure the reservation.

Total cost of the reservation depends on the exact dates & number of guests, please ensure those are correct for an accurate cost on your stay.

We utilize a security system with automatic smoke & carbon monoxide detectors for your safety.

2 exterior Security cameras with audio monitor and record activity in the parking area and driveway/pool area.

Small well-trained dogs are permitted with advance notice and permission. Pet fee of $150/dog, per stay. Limited to 2 dogs that already know each other. Dogs must be leashed outside.



Interaction with Guests:

We are not on the premises, but the host and homeowners are available and nearby if needed.
