'We absolutely loved this hotel, we booked last minute the staff was ready and helpful the moment we got there very thorough and friendly the room was beautiful, clean and spacious the bathroom as well and the balcony overlooking the town, not to mention the jacuzzi! 'My daughter and I enjoyed the historical ambiance. It felt like you traveled back in time. Our room was clean, warm, and cozy. The only minor issue was having to share a bathroom, however, since we went during the off season we had it to ourselves. There are other rooms that include bathrooms, just be sure to ask ahead of time. We also got to meet the owner's beautiful dog Mocha. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. '

'Hotel is in a great location in Ouray and walkable to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking on site. Building was built in the 1800s but has been kept up well. Overall nice booking. '

'We had a wonderful stay at Altus Lodge! The check in process was incredibly easy which made arriving stress free. The lodge is conveniently located in downtown Silverton, right next to a grocery store, which was a huge plus. The rooms were clean, updated, and super cute, clearly well cared for and thoughtfully designed. Everything about our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, and the location made it easy to explore the area. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Altus Lodge...
