Our hostess was very friendly and informative. She answered all of our questions. She even brought over some logs and a fire starter log so we could have a fire on a cold night. The only thing we were not aware of was the amount of steps in condo. There are 3 levels. We only used 2 of the levels. My husband is recovering from total knee and that was a challenge for him. Our room was on first floor. The kitchen and living room are on 2nd floor so he was able to stay on that floor most of the time. I would recommend this condo.

Gracious Comfort in a Great Location
My husband and I treated my sister to a stay at this sweetly furnished condo near Letchworth State Park for fall leaf peeping. After a long day at the park, it was so nice to come back to the cozy comfort of this place.

We decided pretty last minute to visit Letchworth State Park and were so happy this condonwas available for us to say. Maribeth was very responsive and wonderful tonwork with. The place is as clean as everyone mention. What I think needs addressed is how extremely comfortable the back bedroom bed was. I was more luxurious than a five star hotel!

Awesome Property
Our family stayed at this adorable condo for a week and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. This place had EVERYTHING necessary - the kitchen was so well stocked! Laundry available WITH detergent! The location was perfect. We came to explore Letchworth, Buffalo and a day trek to Niagara Falls. Communication with host was great - best I’ve ever had and we do A LOT of VRBO rentals. I would highly recommend this property and should our travels bring us this way again down the road, I’ll know exactly where to stay! Hope everyone respects this property so we all have access to it for years to come.

Perfect getaway
My family and I stayed here as our base camp while in the area for some hikes. We couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for our family’s getaway! The apartment was spotless and exactly as described. Maribeth was a gracious host and very helpful when briefly needed on the checkin day. Overall highly recommend to stay here if you’re in the area.

Family trip to Letchworth

Great Stay in a Great little town
We had an amazing stay at the Swain Hollows Condo. Lots of fun at the ski resort and Letchworth State Park. Everything was perfect. Just a quick heads up though, the Jacuzzi is a single bathtub, not a hotub.

Condo was very clean and comfortable for 2 families of 4. The loft was perfect for the kids while the adults were comfortable sleeping in the king beds downstairs. Couches are so comfortable! Condo was just as advertised.

The moo cow makes it all right
The picture of the cow makes it. Amidst all the spacious living area and the ski reminiscences, and dishes, and other decoration, is this whimsical print of an oil on canvas cow, staring right at you, in perfect peace, mid-chew. She is slightly psychedelic, and grooving to her cud, capping the rustic, the alpine, and the modern. Her presence made everything all right. Oh, and we liked the fireplace, too.

This condo was home away from home, wonderfully quiet, well stocked and a great location for exploring the area’s state parks. We hiked Letchworth, Stony Brook and several off the beaten path hikes to waterfalls.

Great location for state parks
We stayed here so we could have easy access to Letchworth and Stoney Brook State Parks. This is a great location for both. The owner was easy to communicate with and the condo is very spacious. I would have given 5 stars, but there are some details that need to be attended. For instance, 3 of the lights in the kitchen are burned out, which made it rather dark. The toaster had so many crumbs in the bottom, that it smoked until it was cleaned out. The screen door is very difficult to move and the screen is coming loose at the bottom and needs to be repaired. Also, please be aware that while there is a large TV, there is no cable or satellite, only dvds and an DVD player. I would stay here again, but the unit is in need of a little care.

Dear Cindy We had great communication like you said. Had you mentioned to me that the light bulbs were out and there was trouble with the screen door it would have been taken care of ASAP! My cleaners clean during the day. Probably why they missed the lights needing replaced. Secondly I will remind my cleaner to clean out toaster. I don't think your review will be a deal breaker for others renting my place! Thankfully!! I'm a single Mom doing my best!! Maybyour next experience be perfect!

Summer Short Getaway

Perfect family retreat location
This condo was the perfect location for a family gathering with an RIT student for a weekend. Just an hour away from Rochester, but far enough to disconnect, relax, recharge and spend time with family. Within walking distance to Swain Ski "resort" and an easy drive to Letchworth State Park. The condo was just the right size for our family of five. Kitchen was well stocked for simple cooking. Clean and comfortable accommodations. Maribeth was quick to respond to messages and was very kind when we called her at 10pm needing help with directions. Definitely a place we would consider returning to in the future.

Easy SKI TRIP
My family and I have stayed at Maribeth's condo three times now. It's so nice to spend the day skiing and then retreat to the condo. It's close by (we walked back and forth from the lifts easily), easy to access and very user friendly!

Visited Stony Brook & Letchworth state parks, and also did the Arcade & Attica fall foliage train ride. This house was a good location for those activities, but in an otherwise tiny town with just 1 restaurant (at least in the off-season for skiing). House was as advertised and fit us comfortably (4 adults, 3 kids). Only issues were the A/C remote had gone missing and it was on the warmer side during our stay; there were fruit flies in the kitchen area; and the wifi service wasn’t great, but I didn’t mind so much as we just found other things to do (board games).

The remote was with my cleaning person. He found a leak in the ceiling and was thinking it was from the air conditioner. Any how it's scheduled to be repaired. The unit is only a year old and I'm very disappointed. For it was very expensive to have it installed. Fruit flies ugh! It will get taken care of. I'm sorry to have these issues. I'm booked just about every day. Unfortunately people can leave fruit out and it happens, as we all know! It's already being taken care of as I write you. Thank you for your honesty!

Beautiful location and set up. The air conditioner did not work properly, so thankfully it was a cool weekend. The master bedroom that’s perfect but the bed in the second bedroom is the worst bed I’ve ever experienced. It was painful to sleep on. Definitely, meant for a ski resort stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Awesome stay, Maribeth was a great host, loved the neighborhood, found many things to do, Bar and Restaurant with live bands on Sunday's during the summer and excellent food, Escape Rooms were fun, outdoor movie theaters within a half hour to 45 minute drive, Letchworth State Park, fantastic scenery and if you really want to be adventurous, Niagara Falls is only a few hours away!!
