Amazing 2-bedroom, 2-bath home perched near the top of a beautiful mountain on 4 stunning acres of Appalachian beauty. This remote destination provides an abundance of privacy and is perfect for a romantic getaway or a last-minute break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A wrap-around deck with an ideal covered gazebo is where you'll want to lounge the days away, enjoying the mountain views and fire-pit, as well as an outdoor hot tub in the yard below. A newly built home (2008) - it has all stainless steel modern appliances, a 2-person jacuzzi bathtub, bathrooms with wine-bottle cork flooring, and a gorgeous primary bedroom suite with a king bed.

This high-altitude home is just minutes from Asheville and Black Mountain with its charming galleries, shops, and restaurants. 4-WHEEL DRIVE or AWD with higher clearance is REQUIRED year-round to get to this beauty. Pets are welcome with an additional pet fee! The home even includes a fenced and gated pet run area off the back deck to keep your pets from wandering into the black bear country if you choose.

Main Level (upstairs): Kitchen, living room with a 65-inch Smart TV with streaming (Firestick/YouTube TV), dining area, master bedroom with a king bed, and a full bath.
​​​​​​​Downstairs: Living area with Smart TV streaming (Firestick/YouTube TV), a queen bed and a futon, a full bath, and a 1-car garage. Please note that the lower level is accessed via a spiral staircase and is open/does not have a door that closes it off from the upper level.

WE RECOMMEND FIRST ARRIVAL DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS. The road up to the house includes steep gravel for the last .06 miles. Ridgetop is 8 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 miles from the pickleball courts in Black Mountain.

Please note: This house is dog-friendly with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. Greybeard homes are located close to Pisgah National Forest. Ladybugs and Kudzu Beetles may be seen in our area in the fall and winter months, and it is not uncommon for them to find their way into homes to escape the cooler weather from time to time. They are not poisonous and cannot be exterminated.
