Staying at a dive is one thing, but having that dive tie up a $100 security deposit for two days is grotesque. When I arrived, the desk clerk was in a fight with a lovely elderly woman from Canada. I believe she was trying to get the establishment to release her room so she could stay in another nearby motel. The clerk was rude and when pressed referred to mysterious management or manager to whom he would not allow the woman to speak. Final note, the photos are inaccurate and sell a room that doesn’t exist. Dishonest and untrustworthy.

When I walked into the office to check in, there was a staff member sweeping but quickly went out of view, never acknowledged my presence. After about a minute I wrang the bell and another staff member popped up, he was great and got me checked in. We opened the door to our room and it went downhill from there...we were hit by the odor, stained ceiling tiles, broken door safety latch and no coffee maker. The final kicker was when we folded down the bed sheets, there was multiple burn holes through the top sheet (it was a smoker room), but this was unacceptable. Please stay away from this location.

Ceiling had water damage and was peeling in, towels were dirty, room was dirty (hair, dirt and grime) and the room smelled like smoke and had an ash tray even though it was non smoking. Okay place if you are desperate, but I would absolutely not reccomend.

Room was clean . Staff was friendly. Location convenient to major routes ,coffee, restaurants and shopping. No coffee maker in the room and ice only through the front desk. Setting less than desirable behind closed down restaurant in an office park.

The room was re-modelled and clean, bath ok. The whole facility is old and run-down. Staircase disgusting and stinking. Booked 4 persons but only found 2 towels. Area feels lonely and not safe (at dark).

It's an older building so my expectations were limited, but it seems like they aren't actually doing any maintenance to the property. Everything is slightly worn out. You are right next to the highway so some noise is too be expected but the fact that the exterior door does not have a seal - you can see light all around it when it's closed - means that the traffic noise is quite noticeable in the room. Also, I couldn't get the motel wifi to work - I travel often and use hotel and airport wifi a lot, so the malfunction wasn't on my side. My phone had, at best, two bars so no chance that my mobile hot spot would work. There was an intermittent mechanical whirring/buzzing (a pump of some sort?) in the ceiling right over the bed that was annoying (Room 103.) The photo makes the room look bright and kinda minimalist chic - in reality it was dreary and just brown. I would not stay here again. I met a lady who was checking out and going to another hotel because her room was so dirty. Ya, it might be less expensive than other area hotels, but this level of shoddy is insulting.

Don’t rely on reservation confirmations
The property’s system was passed incorrect information. Instead of using Hotels.com chat feature to resolve the issue with me, opted instead to cancel the reservation. When I arrived late that evening to check in, the firm misrepresented the situation to Hotels.com, claiming that they had given me an opportunity to remedy the situation and that I refused their offer to secure a different room (at twice the price). Disappointed in both Rodeway and Hotels.com client service team.

Staff was friendly, our room was beside a prostitutes who had multiple guys in through the night with loud noise all night, room was disgusting and not clean, exposed outlets with no covers, shower head pipe was just loosely through the wall with hole all around it, only a smoking room available with holes from cigarettes in bedding everywhere.

Good for one night stay at a decent price. Bed was hard and sheet wasn't clean but I didn't see bed bugs. Towels not clean either and they are very stingy about giving you more towels. It's right off the highway but you need to take some side street to get there that is confusing. Parking lot is well lit. The rooms are big but the space is kind of wasted and empty. I would rather they put an extra sink in the area outside the bathroom than the one chair that was there. There was no hair dryer and front desk had no extra ones. We called the front desk several times for hair dryer but he kept saying he would call back. After an hour, we were able to get one when we went down to the office after some arguing. They said there should have been one in the bathroom attached to the wall but you can clearly see nothing was ever attached. The rooms need better cleaning as the doors and bathroom baseboard was filthy. Also the peephole was missing and paper was shoved in there.

There was trash in the room when we checked in. The carpet going up the stairwell was filthy and smelled terrible. There were several blind corners which made us feel unsafe. There was NOT a bar of soap in the bathroom.
