Welcome to Windrush Lodge, where you can indulge in a tranquil getaway amidst wonderful tourist and historical locations. Windrush Lodge is set in a peaceful Village in north Wiltshire. Cotswold Water Park, Cirencester Country park, riverside walks are a stone throw away from Windrush Lodge.

As well as a nice self contained double room you have access to an open plan lounge with basic kitchen area and outdoor pergola seating.


Outdoor Relaxation and Barbeque Facilities
Enjoy the weather in the hammock and cuddle up with your kids. It’s a perfect spot to recharge your battery.
You also have access to the grounds and in particular the Mediterranean style outdoor pergola seating area with seasonal hanging vines. The area outdoor can accommodate up to 8 seating with access to a barbeque.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
Cotswolds Water Park, Country park, paths and riverside walks are a stone throw away from Windrush Lodge.

For water sports, wetsuit and paddle boards could be organised. up to 4 bicycles can be made available. (All at very reasonable hire charge)

Several Golf complexes within 10 miles

Accessibility features
Access to the lodge is up one single step and therefore suitable for guests with mobility issues.
The Bathroom is a wet room with no trips or obstruction for those mobility issues. Please contact the host for further details or to discuss your requirements.

The village has a church and a local self-independent pub which are both just a few minutes walk away. Historical estate, Lydiard Park with manor and tour can be half an hour by foot for an idyllic walk or just 7 minute drive away. Other attractions are listed below.

PARKING
There is free parking on-site for one car. Location as illustrated by the red car in the cover photo.

Interaction with Guests
We welcome engaging with the guests, however their privacy is of significant importance.

The guests often wish to break away from home choirs and in the past have requested culinary support from us. Subject to the availability, the host can support the guests with catering support.

Pets
The Host has no dogs or pets and you are welcome to bring your pet, if it is a small dog then you need to take care as the fence does have gaps for them to exit the curtilage.

Please note that small dogs can exit the property through gaps in the fence and the guests need to be vigilant.


Health and Safety,
The guests are responsible their safety and the safety of the children and pets.

Proof of identity,
We require each guest (over the age of 15) to have and show us- a valid form of identification upon check-in similar to a driving license.

House rules and additional guests
Subject to previous agreement by the Host additional 2 adults can be accommodated on the Bed settee. Additional charge will apply where guests were to receive overnight visitor.

Guests and visitors:
We are perfectly happy having people pop by to pick you up, but you may not use the property to entertain them. We'd be happy to recommend other suitable places for you to spend time with your visitors or friends.

All overnight guests must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee as noted in the price.

This must be done no later than 24 hours before their arrival and agreed with the host in advance.

Quiet Time(s):
We ask you to be aware of the noise you are making throughout the day and we ask you to lower the music and when outdoors keep the noise down between 10 pm and 8 am.

We as well as our neighbours appreciate this courtesy.

Smoking Policy:
There is no smoking allowed indoors. All smoking should take place outdoors and related waste should be disposed of properly.

Deliveries:
Deliveries - apart from food deliveries like Deliveroo or Uber Eats routine deliveries are not allowed. This means no post or Amazon shipments either. There are "Amazon lockers" located throughout the neighbourhood where you may pick up deliveries at your convenience.

Internet WiFi:
The WiFi access point is linked to the house via a booster. It broadcasts on both the 2.4gHz and 5gHz bands. However, it like all other internet slows down when people get home from work. We have noticed no appreciable slow-downs If you have issues, let us know.
