'Is a nice place to stay if you're visiting San Diego and moving in public transport. For my first time at a hostel, I really enjoyed my time here; people are respectful, quiet hours are respected, and your things are safe at all times. Bathrooms, showers, hallways, tables- everything was clean; I really felt comfortable here. About the neighborhood, there are indeed many homeless people on the street; however, most of them can be ignored. The hostel staff always made sure they weren't near the...

'When we got there I quickly understood it was not a traditional hotel. It had no lobby, or someone that can help you with any issues. The “hotel” connect with residential apartments. We found an infestation of ants and the number we called did not help, they refused to give us another room, they offered bug spray. Thermostat started malfunctioning and it got hot at night'

'Little bit strange with lobby on 12th. Downtown in walking distance. Convention Center 20 min walk Parking not cheap, but all parking garages aren't. Expected more homeless people as the US isn't doing well on that point. Neighbourhood felt safe, '

'My stay began with an excellent first impression. A kind young gentleman and the welcoming front desk staff greeted me warmly upon arrival. Unfortunately, my departure experience was very different. On Monday morning, I called the front desk to request a two-hour extension beyond the 11 a.m. checkout time. The gentleman I spoke with was unfriendly and quoted $100 for just one additional hour. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was transferred to someone whose name I believe was Christin or...

'This stay was interesting to say the least. The room was a mix between an old school/hospital/jail room. The door to the room didn’t have a dead bolt or security bolt, only a latch. And also it was a push door with a lock, so the handle was useless. It’s in the middle of a very noisy block, the room basically shakes until 2am, but they provide earplugs. The shower reminded me of a locker room shower, as well as the sinks. Besides what I mentioned just being unexpected, the bed was comfy, the...

'Lovely decor, clean and fresh rooms and extremely friendly and supportive staff. Small downside was the limited closet/storage space. And for disabled access, in the shower the soap and shampoo could have been placed a little closer to the shower itself.'

'Modern, stylish place. Good breakfast options. '

'No way to describe the horrific experience we had checking in when we arrived. Had no idea there would be no front desk or direct contact with a human.'

'Room was clean'

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '
