Hello and a warm welcome to the “Mare Nostrum 4” vacation rental. It’s located on the first floor of a small apartment building right near the beach, in the second row behind the dunes of Westerland. Perfect for two people with 46 square meters of space and a separate bedroom, but also comfortable for four, since the cozy couch in the living room with open kitchen folds out into a full-size double bed for a really good night’s sleep.
The open-concept kitchen-living room (painted “Vanilla”) is fully equipped; the furnished patio, a private parking spot, and a shared washer and dryer are also available. But the real highlight of this apartment is its location: It’s less than ten minutes from here to the bustling downtown area with all its shopping options, quaint pubs, and attractive restaurants. And if you like to swim in the ocean before breakfast, you could theoretically “just walk over” to the beach in your swimsuit—it’s less than two minutes away.
Don’t have a Latin certificate? Admittedly, very few of our guests do either. “Mare Nostrum” means “our sea”; it once referred to the Mediterranean and here on the island stands for a truly attractive apartment building where we manage all 12 units.
