'Not sure how this property got all 10 on reviews. We are not picky people but do expect some basic items. For instance, the propane tank did not light for the outdoor fire pit (disappointing), nor was the view of the river great. Big bushes blocked the view. The front door had a SMALL blind that left 2-3 inches of it not covered! There was no hot plate for cooking even though there was utensils and pots. There is absolutely NO STORAGE for luggage or other items, no shelves or hooks except...

'The location was great, right on the river. The owner was helpful and easy to communicate with. There was a strong musky/mildew smell in the unit that made it uncomfortable. We only stayed one night so it didn't matter much, but someone with respiratory issues might want to be cautious.'

'This property was perfect for our weekend getaway. It was as the description said, a cozy cabin with exceptional views. The kitchen was equipped with all our needs. There were clean linens available. Definitely recommend for any one/couple who needs some solace but want the convenience of not being too far from town.'

'What a wonderful location! The house was clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the fire pit, too. Although we didn’t bring any pets, the house was obviously dog friendly.Our group of five had plenty of room. The house was really close to WCU, and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. 'We spent 4 nights with 12 people, but invited others Saturday for a total of 26 at a family get-together. We used most of the property’s amenities: fire pit, hot tub, game room, both kitchens, large back yard and deck, and grill. We did not need to use the movie room, but it looked like a great space. 'We had a great stay here! We booked it for a long weekend. Great central location to travel around in the area including GSMNP and Waynesville. Host was very responsive, checked in to see if we needed anything after our first night stay. The driveway getting up the home is gravel and very steep. Should not detour you from booking but something to be aware of. Would stay again!'
