'Good location '

'Room 100 has no hot water, i had to go to room 409 when i needed to shower, also the a/c did not work in room 100, they brought us one fan, for my husbands side, of the bed, not happy. The lady at the front desk applied 1000 points to a IHG acct she made for me, whats that gonna get me? A water?... i cant stay at a hotel for less than 80k points, i think i deserve a free room for a night, for the hassle, js'

'Staff said expedia sent over a 2 bed and i reserved a king bed. Lady said i have a king with no windows was thr only thing she had aval. Which was weird and kinda creepy. Expedia called the staff and all tbe sudden the same lady shows up at the room she put us in with a king bed with a window an hour later. After an hour your settled. 'The staff is excellent, the front desk and the bellman were a blast from the past at the excellent service you come to expect from a Westin. Where it fell short wet the amenities which I’ve been accustomed to in my previous stays. It’s a little thing, but when you pay $400 for a hotel room you expect better than 1 ply toilet paper. Their beds are still the best in the business though. Make sure you bring a step stool if you are shorter than 5’2”. The biggest “miss” was the food service. ...

'I stayed here two nights and it was super comfortable. I lived in a provided bathrobe basically the entire time I was on the property. It’s definitely quiet and for quiet guests as it’s an older property. I really enjoyed the charm and especially the proximity to the Nelson Atkins museum. My room had an adorable wood burning fireplace that is available for guest use but I opted for the radiator space heater that was in the closet. We had to move rooms as the one we were staying in was booked already, but they had our new room ready to move our things to, before we even left the hotel for our activities.'
