NIEUW - Amazing Lighthouse Beach Waterfront Homes voor 14 personen

Omring jezelf met luxe aan het strand in twee van de meest verbazingwekkende huizen in Gig Harbor. Deze huizen waren ooit eigendom van een zeer welgestelde familie en werden gebruikt als hun zomerverblijf. Uitgelicht in Sunset Magazine voor hun ontwerp en locatie in 1962 en door ons bijgewerkt in 2019 zijn deze huizen meer dan geweldig. Deze twee huizen, gelegen op de vuurtoren, hebben alles wat u zich kunt voorstellen om op vakantie te gaan met uw vrienden en familie. Lage oever waterkant aan drie kanten betekent dat je letterlijk wordt omringd door water en zandstranden. Ontspan bij de vuurplaats of zit en geniet van wijn van het strand of een van de 3 dekken tijdens het kijken, zeehonden, otters en af en toe een walvisspel in het water. Zie de zon opkomen terwijl je vanuit je achterdek over het water naar Mt Rainer staart en kijk vanaf je voordek over de jachten in de haven. Wandel naar de Gig Harbor-vuurtoren, kajak naar Tides Tavern of word opgehaald bij uw eigen aanlegsteiger bij de gondel voor een romantische rit door de haven. Val 's nachts in slaap met het geluid van de golven op het strand en word wakker met uitzicht op het water terwijl u nog lekker in uw comfortabele bed ligt. Prive diep water ligplaats betekent dat u zelfs uw boot kunt meenemen.

We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse beach with our family of 12 adults and one child. The location was absolutely stunning. The two houses provided everything you could want for private and gathering spaces. We were able to gather together in chairs on the beach overlooking Puget Sound, sitting on the deck overlooking Gig harbor and in the large open air living area of one of the houses. Our young adults thoroughly enjoyed the provision of water craft. The sunrises and sunsets were gorgeous.We found Gig Harbor to be very charming with plenty of restaurants and shops to browse.We can't say enough about how helpful and accommodating Annie was during our stay.Thank you, Annie for sharing your wonderful paradise with us.Paula and Larry

This property was terrific! Plenty of personal space, living space and outdoor space for our group of 11 friends and family members. Communication with Annie was easy from start to finish. Once we were checked in, we had everything we needed to settle in for a week of fun and relaxation. None of us were familiar with harbor life and location of Annie’s houses gave us an experience of a lifetime. We spotted lots of wildlife including seals and bald eagles, and at low tide we were entertained by clams that spouted streams of water into the air like a fountain. We were awe struck each time we walked onto the decks to clearly see Mt. Ranier in all its majesty in the distance. What a gift! There were stunning views in all directionsfrom the abundance of glass used in the design of the houses. There was plenty of room for socializing as a group and ample space for private moments. Our group especially enjoyed the fire pit at night and I loved the sauna! Wish I was still there. Hope to return.

Great family home

We had 3 families with young kids here for a weekend trip—this home was so superbly located and an idyllic spot for the kids. They had hours of fun on the beach, watching the geese and sea otters, canoeing to the restaurant across the harbor, swinging in the hammock, and exploring the nearby lighthouse. Annie was also extremely responsive to all my questions during the weekend!

Washington wedding location for our extended family

Great check in process as navigating the entry in the dark would have been tough. Both houses were well stocked with kitchen and bath needs. The property was quiet and the natural sights were everywhere. Harbor seals, eagles, starfish…. Also our hosts were very attentive. We had a problem and they immediately addressed it in hours so that our wedding party weekend wouldn’t be impacted. Had a nice cookout on our last day and a few locals from our new family joined us by boat. A very special stay for us and a location that we’ll likely get back too.

Unmatched, special location

This property is special! Unmatched beautiful location! The two houses are clean, well equipped, and in good working order. Several outdoor decks, and inside a table large enough for all. Our family of 11 were accomodated comfortably, and since we are all related, we shared the 7 bedrooms and 3 baths well. But if you are looking for more privacy, you might not be comfortable with this set up. The kitchens have ample equipment and dishes for a crowd, and the rental includes a kayak a canoe, and a boat dock where we docked our own boat. There are lots of life jackets in a variety of sizes. And a firepit on the beach with enough chairs for everyone. You need to shlep in your own wood. The kids loved watching playful otters in the water right in front of the deck. One cautionary note — the property is directly at waters edge, and access is down a long steep slope and staircase. Carrying suitcases, groceries, and drinks was not easy! It is safe and well lit but if someone in your group has walking challenges, they will have trouble. There is ample parking at the top of the descent. The owners are responsive, accomodating, and helpful. They met us at checkin to show how to work the a/c, griil, etc and helped carry in a huge load of groceries. They checked with us midweek to see how we were doing, and were responsive quickly when we needed things like lightbulbs. A great property for a family retreat! Gig Harbor is super! Boating across was the quickest way to get there.

Wonderful stay. House is well stocked with everything you would need. Beds were super comfy. Outstanding location with great views. Host was super helpful and responsive. They decorated for the holiday for us so we could have our family holiday celebration. There was 13 in total and we had a great time. Looking forward to returning in spring/summer. Excellent place for a multitude of activities and wildlife sightings!!! We love to cook, play games and be on the water. The lighthouse homes were wonderfully set up for us. Really enjoyed having access to so many watercraft and seeing harbor seals anytime we looked for them! Also saw eagles, nest and babies on walk nearby, great blue heron, pod of dolphin, eggyolk jellyfish, kildeer...Enjoyed the sauna and then dunking in the seawater! The volleyball court near the lighthouse was fun too. Wear shoes to play. Also more courts nearby plus tennis/pickleball. Houses have lots of small gathering areas perfect to leave a puzzle in one area, playgames in another, read quietly in another area... Lots of deckspace too to gather, eat, enjoy the view. Nice to have Pingpong and other games. What would make it primo would be to have another bathroom and to not have the smell of creosote in the glasshouse. Airing it out helps and you get used to it. Fzn experience to be able to paddle over to an outdoor concert or visit rhe farmers market. Great week!!!

Incredible views, warm community

Our stay could not have been better Annie and her husband were easily reachable for check in and any other needs. The place was exactly as shown on the website but even more spectacular in person. We played with kayaks and SUPs with the friendly seals. The kids spent lots of time playing on the beach by the lighthouse and felt like the entire area was ours.great to have all sized life vests. Our kids are already asking to return! Thank you :)

Perfect Extended Family Getaway

Everyone loved this location for our family vacation. With 13 of us ranging in age from 10-80, there was always something to do. We enjoyed sitting on the decks, making smokes by the campfire, kayaking and paddle boarding, and using the well stocked kitchen. We also went on excursions to Seattle and Mt. Rainier from this location. Annie was very welcoming and helpful.

Perfect Getaway Location

Our trip including 3 adults 7 younger adults, ages 25 - 35 and was a combo 70th Bday celebration and family reunion. The setting could not be more beautiful! From inside the house and outside is a panoramic view of the harbor, hillsides, Mount Rainier, with an active harbor of wildlife and boating! Wow - what a magical stay

Just much gratitude for the owners for sharing these amazing properties. We gathered for a reunion around our Mother's Birthday on Easter weekend. The owners were very helpful to us throughout the process. The location is magical. We enjoyed the seals, the kayaks, the night fires inside and out, and the unique varied beauty of each of the houses. The little town of Gig harbor offered some activities too. We had our local family visit us, created meals together, had multiple couples within our family constellation of three generations, many around the age of 30. Everyone had a good time. We ranged it age from 16 to 83. Only thing that was a bit challenging was getting the fire wood. We had to buy multiple bundles of wood wrapped in plastic which was a bit against the grain. Maybe there is a local source who would deliver us a bit of unwrapped wood rather? But it all worked out. Thank-you again and we would do it again.

Just look at this place!

Both houses were clean, in good repair, well equipped. Annie is a fabulous host and offered extensive support and flexibility for us. We had a family reunion here and the two homes made it absolutely perfect as we had two places to reunite in smaller groups and with different activities. We also had a caterer come one night who prepared our dinner in one house while we played games and visited in the other house with appetizers. Aside from that, I think the pictures tell the rest of the story better than I can write. This is a special place that will imprint on anyone. A+ and five stars. Thank You, Annie.
