Een 1400 m², stenen huisje op een prachtige locatie in het graafschap Kerry met een hectare grond die leiden tot rand van het water, een terras en een eigen strand.
Seal Rock Cottage heeft een panoramisch uitzicht op de oceaan, eilanden en bergen. Gelegen op Rossmore Island deze is aangesloten op de beroemde Ring of Kerry door een oude stenen brug.
Het interieur is ontworpen door Andrew Burch, de veel geprezen Welsh Interieur Desgner aind bestaat uit een zitkamer met bibliotheek en open haard, een tuinkamer met gietijzeren kachel, een surround sound home entertainment-systeem en een prachtig uitzicht over het water. En een eethoek, goed ingerichte luxe keuken, wasruimte en een garderobe.
Het terrein is sympathiek aangelegd behoud van veel van de bestaande natuurlijke functies, waaronder een beek, mini-watervallen, en een terras aan de oceaan.

Ierlands Riviera: zo genoemd vanwege het weelderige subtropische vegetatie en micro-klimaat. Het is een perfecte locatie is celebrity belang met de Riverdance oprichter, Michael Flatley aangetrokken, die een woning op het eiland te kopen.

We loved the cottage and location! In all fairness, it might be more remote than some would prefer- about 20 minutes drive from Kenmare, but the private beach and dark skies make up for that. It is very secluded and peaceful. The cottage itself was much more pleasant than even the pictures show. The beds were really comfortable and the place very clean. We enjoyed a full day in during storm Amy. Cannot wait to come back. Highly recommend.

What a magnificent home! We loved staying here. The home is exactly as described in the listing. Our 3rd Return!!

We’ve been returning to Seal Rock Cottage for three consecutive years and recently stayed 8 nights in May. When you find a place that checks all the boxes, it’s a very easy decision. The home’s location, while remote, affords the most spectacular views of Kenmare Bay and the Beara Peninsula. It is a perfect location for day excursions to The Ring of Kerry, the Beara Peninsula, Kenmare, Killarney, Glengarriff and Garinish Island, Bantry, the Healy Pass, and Parknasilla for rounds of golf. The home is just beautifully decorated, always spotless, incredibly comfortable beds, has a wonderful kitchen with great appliances, and a well stocked kitchen. It had everything that we needed to cook many meals. We were so fortunate to have had spectacular weather with sunny skies, warm days and cool nights. It was ideal for sitting outside by the water, sipping on drinks and having fires in the stone fireplace inside in the evenings. Thank you Jane and Michael for sharing your incredible home with us all to enjoy.

A RETURN BACK TO THIS BREATHTAKING GEM!

We knew last year that we would return to Seal Rock Cottage and this year we did just that! The views are absolutely spectacular, and the home is warm and spotless! Everything about this home is perfect! If you are looking for a home that is close to Sneem, on the Ring of Kerry, and near the Berea Peninsula, yet away from the hustle and bustle, this is definitely the place. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, a beautiful stone, wood burning fireplace, and incredible views to watch the magnificent sun sets. Plus the owners are just wonderful and we are thankful to them for sharing their hidden gem with us all! We already booked our return for next year!

Breathtaking Views with a Cozy Touch

Seal Rock Cottage was absolutely beautiful! The check-in process went smoothly, and everything was very neat and clean for our arrival. Instructions in the guest book helped us with turning on the oven and other appliances to make it an easier stay. We enjoyed coffee by the wood fireplace, meals outside on the terrace, and going down to the waterfront to further enjoy the stunning views. It was a great home to wind down in and to plan our adventures for the day in. It was an ideal location to explore Ireland's peninsulas and all its beauty. :) We would recommend this place to all of our friends and family, and we are so thankful for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing 2weeks we had at Seal Rock Cottage! It truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we opened the door we knew we had found a gem! The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the cottage is a extremely stylish, cozy and spotless. Having use of a fully stocked kitchen with wonderful appliances were very much appreciated since we did make use of cooking dinners quite often. Whether we were sitting outside enjoying the ever changing views or sitting inside by the warmth of a fire, we were quick to realize that we will definitely return next year and for another two weeks! We really enjoyed the privacy, yet the location is easily reached to so many areas that were on our must do list. The owners, Michael and Jane gave us many recommendations for things to check out and were fabulous to work with. Thank you Michael and Jane for sharing your magnificent home with us!

Wonderful Week Away From It All

We had two couples reconnecting after many years. This home is beautiful, well equipped and spacious. The property is truly perfect. Lots of land, amazing views and space for relaxation regardless of the weather or season. We visited in the Fall and made great use of the fireplace, drank loads of wine, cooked wonderful meals and enjoyed peace and quiet. We all highly recommend this home for short or long stays.
