  • Welkom bij een van de schatten van Hauserman Rental Group! Dit uitstekende executive toevluchtsoord is alles wat een vakantiehuis in Tahoe zou moeten zijn, van comfort en gemak tot kwaliteit en een uitstekend karakter. Highlands Lodge beschikt over gloednieuwe meubels en inrichting, van boven naar beneden. Hoogwaardige afspraken maken deze verhuur een juweeltje.
    Ga het middelste niveau binnen via een modderkamer die uitkomt op de overloop van het trappenhuis. Verschillende treden hoger komen uit in een grote woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken. Ruime plattegrond met witte eiken hardhouten vloeren en rijke houtaccenten. Veel leuke ruimte met eettafel voor 8-10, granieten kookeiland met 4 stoelen, buffetbar, roestvrijstalen apparaten en schuifladen, Professional Series Frigidaire-reeks, oven, koelkast en alle gemakken van uw eigen keuken. Woonkamer comfortabel gemaakt met open haard, 55 inch flatscreen HDTV met BluRay, love seat, stoel en bank. Schuif uit naar gangboord. 1/2 bad uit keuken.
    Grote kamer opent naar serre met bank en lounge stoel, hondenbed en kaart of cocktail tafel plus spelletjes en puzzels.
    Boven hoofdslaapkamer met kingsize bed, kleine inloopkast, flatscreen HDTV en deur naar privédek. Granieten aanrecht, dubbele wastafel, glazen douche met kiezelvloer en Kohler bad. Leuke mini glazen blokafwerking maakt dit een behoorlijk stijlvol meesterbad!
    Beneden, tweede hoofdslaapkamer met CA King en twee enorme spiegelkasten die de overvloed aan natuurlijk licht weerkaatsen door een veelvoud van ramen! Witgekalkt grenen plafond met open spanten, Flatscreen HDTV, vensterbank en een tweepersoonsslaapbank. Dubbele wastafels met marmeren toonbanken, glazen wandafwerking, glazen douche met kiezelvloer. Dubbele Franse deuren openen naar tweede serre met Queen slaapbank, stoel, HDTV met dvd-speler en meer puzzels en games.
    Hardhouten gang vloer leidt naar drie slaapkamers en twee badkamers plus wasruimte. Beide badkamers beneden met iriserend metalen glastegelaccent dat de ruimte omhult, marmeren toonbanken en douchebak. Eerste slaapkamer aan de rechterkant met tweepersoonsbed, houten paneelwand. Achterslaapkamer met queensize bed, spiegelkast, veel ramen en natuurlijk licht. Derde slaapkamer uit gang met tweepersoonsbed, koele kleuren, ijdelheid. Deur uit gang leidt naar achterste stappen buiten en nieuw geïnstalleerde hot tub!
    Kom genieten van alles dat Tahoe te bieden heeft en verblijf in dit prachtige huis, zeker een comfortabel uitje! 2 mijl fietspad naar het centrum van Tahoe City, op loopafstand van geprepareerde XC-paden, dicht bij openbare stranden en alle vele hoogtepunten op de North Shore!
    Dit hondvriendelijke huis biedt plaats aan maximaal 12 personen en heeft genoeg ruimte om als groep te ontspannen en zich nooit druk te voelen. Garage voor 2 wagens maakt parkeren een briesje (vooral leuk in de winter)! Snelle internettoegang en satelliet-tv zijn inbegrepen (maar niet gegarandeerd) om uw verblijf nog aangenamer te maken. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The highlands lodge was a good gathering place for a meaningful reunion.The building gets a lot of wear and tear so things like window casements, screens, closet organizers, faucets are a bit beat up., if not actually broken. Not a big deal, and Hauserman was happy to fix,. But it is expensive to stay here, so you might expect much more for the money.

Plenty of space for a large family. 5 bedrooms, 4 baths make for a very livable space. Great kitchen/dining/living open floor plan upstairs. Nice quiet sitting spaces off the living and downstairs bedrooms to get some quiet time to read a book.

The house was a really great size, but it really needs some TLC outside. The railings were coming apart and you could see nails. It was a bit wobbly near the hot tub. The cushions on the outside chairs were falling apart. The chairs are very comfortable but the cushions need to be replaced. We had a great time.

The refrigerator and the microwave both did not work. We called right away and they kept telling us it was normal for a fridge not to work for the 1st 24 hours??? Our food spoiled, my daughter got food poisoning and was sick for 2 our of our 5 days. The bedding and towels had stains and crumbs and hair. The carpets smelled like dog pee. The management company kept telling us that the problems were not problems and then told us they couldn't solve the issues even though they knew that there were issues. SO, basically, they ignored our concerns, knowingly allowed us to get food poisoning and then told us they just can't get a fridge or good cleaning crews. If that is the case, they need to not rent the property. It is totally unacceptable to knowingly put peoples health in danger and to also cost them hundreds of doallrs in wasted food.

The rental amount for Highland Lodge was twice what I have paid for the 2 previous Tahoe rentals of almost identical size therefore I expected a higher level of quality in furnishings, kitchen equipment, bedding and above all cleanliness. I requested an early check in but was told that there were renters leaving the morning of our arrival and the cleaning staff would need time to clean and Covid cleaning protocols are in place. Unfortunately the cleaning was not what it should have been.When we checked in at 4pm it was apparent that there was very little cleaning that had been done. The area rug in the upstairs living room had been vacuumed, kitchen counters & sink appeared clean and bathroom sinks look clean.TV remotes for each TV were filthy, dust and cobwebs throughout, coffee table was wobbly, hardwood floors and bedroom rugs very dirty, hair & debris in silverware drawer, cookware worn out, we had to slam the microwave door to get it to work, drips down front of stove, hood exhaust fans caked with grease, stair handrails not connected to wall on one end, shower doors filthy, bed pillows completely flat, mattresses worn out, previous renters underwear & socks in dresser drawer, used bandaid found on upstairs master bedroom floor, hair in bathtubs, small couch in downstairs master bedroom disgustingly stained.We had a loss of hot water and the property management/repair staff were extremely polite, responsive and sent a repairman within an hour to resolve the problem.While the property it self is great for large groups until the cleaning issues and upgrades in beds and furnishings are addressed I would not recommend this property. To be fair I sent an email to the property management detailing with photos the issues we encountered to afford them the opportunity to check the property themselves and correct things. I requested a refund of the cleaning fee and was granted the ref

When I called the office to ask for the code since the house was empty and cleaned, I was told by the office staff that the cleaning crew would send the text (they were long gone). So I was disappointed that what you advertise on your web site was NOT what we experienced.

After returning to Oregon, I found out my sister was dying of breast cancer so have been with her the last 3 weeks. I would normally give my review within a week of departure. Originally, we were all so happy to find a house that was comfortable for the 8 of us. We've rented in Tahoe every year for 51 years. We've gone from renting a 2 br/1bth A-frame to lakefronts on West Shore & Incline. Initial pictures convinced us this place would be perfect. 5BR/4bthPros-Location, furniture, bedsCons-on arrival, fridge was not working properly. The after hours number was called and were told someone would call. No call so we were planning to go to my cousins place at Chambers Landing for back up. Then small Fridge was delivered unannounced & we were told main fridge would be fixed. Did not happen. Lights over sink continually blink, cannot close windows over sink because handles broken. 1 in. of dish soap provided, only 2 kitchen trash bags. We ended up buying soap, trash bags, kleenex, Bathrooms-downstairs single bath toilet runs after each flush, handle loose, most of the baths rugs should be thrown away (shredded & dirty) Interior windows were dirty, many cobwebs. No kleenex in Bathrooms, no extra light bulbs found. My husband & I have 2 vacations rentals in Sunriver, Oregon. WE have a manager that checks on them after housekeeping leaves so that they are in top shape before the next renters checkin.But even after this negative review; if these issues were dealt with, we all agreed it is a great rental house for the 8 of us.Regards, Paddy Hueneke Salem, Or.

Amazing, Spacious House.

Great choice for large group

The home has lots of space and was in a great location. We had friends staying with us for our daughter’s wedding in Tahoe City. The house has plenty of room and the kitchen was perfect! The only drawback is the noise is pretty bad downstairs (bedrooms) when people are walking around upstairs. Not a huge problem but worth mentioning if that sort of thing bothers you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were very appreciative of the fans that were necessary for the unusual high temperatures we experienced in August. Property management was very attentive and delivered supplies at our request.

Great stay and house was huge with plenty of good amenities. Grill on site was a big plus along with huge deck. 10/10!
