Our stay at Casa Nahua was extremely disappointing and far below what the property’s presentation suggests.
From arrival, the lack of a proper check-in process was concerning. There was no real reception, no structured welcome, and no meaningful ID verification. From a basic guest security standpoint, that is unacceptable and immediately undermined confidence.
The Deluxe Double Room was in poor condition. We arrived to find it full of flies. The outdoor concrete slab was severely cracked, the interior walls were cracked, and the plastic wall behind the bed was old, worn, and dirty. The bathroom was also badly designed: the shower drain was clogged, the shower was not properly enclosed so water spilled everywhere, and the shower head was installed too close to the furniture.
The room sealing and sound insulation were also very poor. Geckos got into the room through gaps in the walls, and at night we could hear music from downtown and people walking on the floor above us, making rest difficult.
The pool was consistently dirty and appeared poorly maintained.
Overall, Casa Nahua felt neglected, poorly managed, and misleading relative to its online presentation. I would not recommend it.
