Ons Crystal Sands Penthouse is een wonder met 3 bedden en 3 badkamers. Deze luxe vakantievilla biedt een panorama met zeezicht dat u niet zult geloven. Acht gasten kunnen comfortabel genieten van een tropische vakantie in Tamarindo in dit penthouse met binnen- en buitenruimtes met uitzicht op de lavastenen en golven van het strand van Langosta.

De villa is voorzien van airconditioning en biedt wifi en kabeltelevisie. Elke slaapkamer heeft een eigen badkamer en de keuken in dit penthouse mist niets dat u nodig hebt om maaltijden voor uw gezin of groep te bereiden en te serveren.

Het Crystal Sands-complex ligt aan het strand van Langosta aan de zuidkant van de baai van Tamarindo. This property would be a five star review, if not for the multitude of small maintenance issues. I’m sure they would have been addressed, but who wants maintenance in and out of their unit during vacation? Shortly after arriving, maintenance used the door code to come in and work on the air conditioning, which would have fine if we would have known they were coming. The hot tub kept flipping the breaker, so we couldn’t use it the first 2 nights. The oven went through a beeping cycle every few minutes, but the digital panel didn’t even work, so we couldn’t turn it off or use the oven. The stove numbers had all been scrubbed off so it was trial and error. The carbon monoxide detector was in a bowl in the kitchen with the batteries out. The master closet light was out so I had to use a flashlight for the safe. That all being said, the condo was as pictured. Lots of space! The view was incredible and there are 2 balconies. The beach has mangroves for shade and lots of lava rock and tide pools to explore. If you want to swim, you might have to go to Tamarindo Beach, which is somewhat walkable, depending on your fitness level. I would stay here again as long as I knew all the little maintenance issues were fixed.

Family Stay at the Beach

We stayed at the property from 5/27 - 6/1 for a family vacation to celebrate several college graduations, and as a hub to access the beautiful beaches in the area. The property is on the 5th floor (Penthouse Level), and has one of the most magnificient views in Tamarindo. You can watch the waves roll in all day from the balcony, and the evening thunderstorms were amazing. You can walk out the back gate, take a few steps, and you're in the sand. It's not really a swimming beach, but wonderful for walking and exploring the coast. Tamarindo beach is a 25-30 minute walk, though we chose to drive to tranport chairs, boards, etc. Each room has AC, which provides a welcome relief from the heat and humidity. The property manager Cristina was very responsive to our needs and communicated very well with checking in and checking out. It's a great spot away from the craziness of downtown Tamarindo. *Note the property is on the 5th floor and the elevator was only working 2 of the 6 days we were there. Luckily it was working when we checked in, but it was either under maintenence or not working the rest of the trip. Just a warning for elderly or hauling groceries/luggage up, as it was an inconvenience. Otherwise, the view from the balcony (and upstairs shower) makes you forget about the steps. We would return to this spot in the future.

Perfect location, even better than the photos!

The property was perfect. Two parking spaces right downstairs, with such an incredible view to wake up and fall asleep to the sound of the crashing waves and just a walk down the beach to one of the best local surf breaks. Our son enjoyed searching the rocks for crabs and snails at low tide and jumping in the surf just down the road at the national park. We had a fantastic time and loved the location just a few minutes away from downtown - but close enough to zip to town for sunset on the beach in tamarindo and fantastic dinners every night. Hope to visit again someday!

Wonderful property!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very spacious and had an incredible view. It felt incredibly safe with a person at the gate 24 hours a day. Very close to the action in Tamarindo, but nice and quiet around us.

Amazing views, not crowded

Best views in Tamarindo. Beds were all comfortable, AC worked well, furnishings were comfortable and not old. Balcony was big (I did yoga in the mornings while my husband read). We all loved to sit on the balcony. The shoreline directly in front of the complex is rocky, so there aren't any swimmers, just a few people walking along the beach. This is nice because it's not crowded. It is a 10 minute walk around the rocks to get to Langosta beach that is better for swimming and sitting. The apartment has 4 Tommy Bahama chairs to use on the beach. The condo complex is very well maintained. Our biggest problem was a problem with Wifi connection to the TV to access Netflix, and the hot tub on the Master Bedroom balcony never heated up and was dirty. Kitchen supplies were new, and there was costa rican coffee already in the cupboard. If I recall correctly, the coffee filter does not need paper filters. There are 2 parking spots for this apartment underground. We would love to stay at this complex again, and this penthouse is very nice (even though it felt too big).

Perfection.

I can’t express enough how beautiful the penthouse condo was. It was perfectly described and we had everything we needed. The furniture was comfy. The balcony views were jaw dropping. We loved watching the sunset. The concierge service was extremely helpful with everything we needed and was very responsive. You can access the beach on property but it’s quite rocky. Beautiful though. We were thankful for the 4 beach chairs available. If you plan on spending time in Tamarindo (going to eat, bars, etc) I highly recommend getting a golf cart.

Amazing Stay!

This penthouse condo was stunning. The photos did not do it justice. We took our 4 grown children for a family vacation. Each evening we walked the beach and enjoyed the spectacular sunsets with a happy hour on one of the two huge decks overlooking the ocean. During the day or evenings, we walked into Tarmarindo for adventures and great seafood. We all voted it our best vacation yet, and we have taken many!! Thank you!

We had an incredible experience at this Penthouse Condo. Truly a gem of a property. The ocean views are absolutely stunning. The property is clean, very spacious and comfortable. The condo is safe with gated access and has underground parking for 2 cars. We travel the world and I can high recommend this property. You will love it.

The experience of a life time in Tamarindo and Crystal Sands 504!

Penthouse 504 at Crystal Sands was absolutely amazing. Every detail of our stay was outstanding. The 2-story penthouse has the most incredible views and it is huge!! We loved having the two large balconies with such amazing views and have breakfast every day overlooking the surf. The location was perfect, beach front, just a 5 minute drive to Tamarindo, on a nice residential area where the most upscale properties in the area are. Everything in the property is in immaculate shape and the property manager (Stay in Tamarindo) does a beautiful job maintaining it. The owners have ensured that the property is fully equipped with fresh linens, plenty of towels, great wifi and a gourmet kitchen. The complex is safe with underground parking and with friendly security staff 24/7. Our group of 8 had the time of our lives. Transportation, golf carts, excursions and chef services were precisely arranged by the concierge team. There were so patient with us and we are so grateful for all of their help! This was our first visit to Tamarindo but won't be our last, we are already planning to come back next year and stay at Penthouse 504!! Thank you so much!
