Groot huis met zwembad, goede uitvalsbasis
Vanaf het huis heb je een knap uitzicht op de Etna en de zee. Er is geen inkijk. Vlakbij is er de Eurospin om te winkelen. Wij hadden allen onze eigen badkamer. Ideale uitvalbasis om te bezoeken: Etna, Taormina, Giardini Naxos. Het was heerlijk afkoelen in het zwembad tijdens de hittegolf (40°). Giovanni gaf steeds tips en verzorgde het zwembad. Wij zetten onze reis verder in Syracuse om het zuidoosten te verkennen.

Crisafullis in Sicily
This property was perfect for our intergenerational family of 10. Plenty of bedrooms, baths, and space. The large kitchen allowed us to have fun with Sicilian dinners, and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor dining areas. Pool was amazing! Host Giovanni was super responsive to all communication and gave us great recommendations on things to see. Location was easily accessible to Taormina, Aetna, Messina, Siracusa, Noto, and all the great villages on the eastern side of the island.

Beautiful View and Confortable Villa
Our family had a great time at the villa. The outside area is amazing, views on the volcano and great big pool. The photos are very accurate, this is great big house with all commodities. The wifi wasn't great in the rooms, but working perfectly on the first floor. Host was very nice.

L'extérieur de la villa est magnifique et agréable, tant le côté avec la vue sur l'Etna, que le coin piscine dépaysant. Quelques imperfections sur des équipements dysfonctionnels dans la maison, mais pas de quoi entacher un séjour.

Wonderful Holiday
A beautiful oasis of calm. This property was perfect for relaxing after being out sightseeing around the area which is very popular and busy. To be able to come back and relax at this beautiful pool and view was perfect. Thank you to Giovanni who was the perfect host and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a good stay providing excellent advice on where to visit and where to go for excellent food outside of the normal tourist spots.

Great villa for a group- lovely host
Wee were a party of 8 adults. The rooms were all good each with its own bathroom which were all a good size. The kitchen and outside space were good and a good range of kitchen ware. The pool was particularly lovely, though getting chilly by October. We used it a few times though. The area is a little out of the main tourist sites, but only a bus ride away. I recommend getting the bus to Gore Alcantara and then carry on up the hill to a ruined castle and amazing views. The villa owner Giovanni was amazing, he introduced us the village restaurant where we were well treated with real Sicilian food. He was very helpful and even gave a lift to the station.

Dejligt hus til en familieferie
Skønt hus med en fantastisk udsigt. Huset er perfekt indrettet til en større gruppe af venner eller familiemedlemmer. Dejligt køkken som rummede alt det, man har brug for. Der var rent og ordentligt over det hele både indvendig og udvendigt. Ejeren var meget hjælpsom og ydede en god service.

Excellent villa
Stayed in villa 21st sept - 2nd Oct ,party of 6 adults and three infants, Excellent villa , very clean and spacious, we had plenty of room for all of us plus more ! with everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay, we didn't want for anything it was all there, we have stayed in many and this has to be one of the best, very well equipped. Wonderful views towards Etna, which we spent many evenings on the terrace marvelling at the activity from it. The pool was just superb and was cleaned daily by Giovanni , who was an excellent host, always there if we needed him very helpful and friendly, he went above and beyond even went shopping the first night with us so we could get supplies quickly for three hungry and tired children. He was also very helpful telling us about the local area. The villa is in a very relaxing location ,ideally placed for site seeing , lots of restaurants/ shops nearby in Naxos also in the nearby village, we enjoyed many pastries from the local bakery. Many beautiful beaches and Lidos near by. All in all a very enjoyable stay, highly recommended, the Villa has everything you need and if we are ever back in the area this would be top of our list to stay in again. THANK YOU GIOVANNI FOR BEING SUCH A GREAT HOST !!!,

A wonderful family and extended family holiday stay.
Lovely big villa with plenty of space for 5 couples and one baby. Excellent facilities and sizable swimming pool. Big kitchen area and lovely terrace to share meals and drinks. The grounds are extensive and the views across the valley and of Mount Etna are great. Giovanni was very helpful in helping us settle, find our way about, locating shops, restaurants and the big supermarket. We are all happy with our holiday stay.

Perfect.
A perfect place for a large family. Very beautiful house with everything you need for a perfect holiday. The pool and the surroundings was also beautiful. The view to Etna and the sea was breathtaking. A good area to stay if you want to make trips to Etna, Taormina or just exploring the beach. The landlord Mr. Catalano was very friendly and helpfull. We will recommend this place for sure. Thank you for a nice stay.

Great house, great location and amazing host.
Close Taormina, Castelmola, naxus and mt Etna. Easily get to my Etna for and adventure to an active volcano. Drive 10 minutes and visit Taormina. Only an hour from Catania airport. You will have a hard time finding a better place. The house was perfect for our family. Day trips to: Mt Etna Syracuse + Ortigia ( a must see) Nexus beach. We found Tobagan beach by accident. Was great. Even has waterslides! Castelmola- take a taxi if you don’t like small cliff side roads... And Taormina. Park near the gondola and enjoy the ride up and down. A visit to the Bambar and the theatre and then lunch. The house itself was very clean. Rooms all had air conditioning and closet space. It’s a big house. You’ll never feel cramped. The pool is amazing and we used it everyday after our excursions. WiFi on the first and second floors worked very well. If I find myself back in Sicily again I’ll book this house again. Giovanni was an amazing host. (Thanks!) Met us when we arrived. Gave us our deposit back when we left. We even had dinner with on our last night.

Super House for family vacation

lovely family holiday in a wonderful villa
This was a family holiday [6 adults] we had bought for our youngest daughter's 30th birthday. The villa was amazing [lots of space] and the outside area with the pool outstanding. It has been kept very well and very clean. Mr Catalano met us the day we arrived and was very welcoming and incredibly helpful . Nothing was too much trouble and he very discreetly came most mornings to clean the pool and surrounding area. The villa is very well equipped and the views out towards Mount Etna were spectacular, especially first thing in the morning. The local shops and amenities are good and Mr Catalano has all the best info about these you could need. Thank you for giving us a very happy and memorable holiday

Fantastic views,fantastic pool area.Great space for everyone.
Eight of us had a fantastic week at this villa which was large enough for us all to have our own big space but come together in the evening.We cooked in a couple of times and the kitchen was very well equipped.Giovanni was on hand most days in early to clean the pool and organised 8 seater taxi so we didn't have to drive in the evening, nothing was too much trouble.Like typical Italian villas this was furnished in traditional dark wood which might not appeal to everyone. Our only little niggle was the showers which could do with updating as they were quite small compared to size of bathroom and we had problem with sliding doors, walk in one's might be better. Apart from a storm one night we were blessed with fantastic weather and made most of the early morning sitting on our balcony looking at Mt Etna. Driving is an experience in Sicily and we were thankful we could return cars without any dents.In fairness you could get around without one as the bus service is very good and very cheap. We all had a fantastic time and loved nearby Taormina and had a fun day wading through the water at the gorge at Alcantara.I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to friends.

Tres bonnes vacances en Sicile
La villa etait comme decrite au prealable, donc une super villa! Nous etions 12 et la villa etait adaptée a accueillir un tel groupe, de belles chambres, une magnifique piscine, une vue toujours incroyable tous les matins. Giovanni le detenteur des clés etait disponible et arrangeant. Le stationnement etait facile, les commodités a procimité, pour les joueurs de tennis du groupe la bonne surprise etait egalement la proximité immediate de terrain. Villa parfaite pour une semaine de vacance sicilienne, alliant decouverte de l'ile et detente entre amis!

Très grande maison. Superbe piscine.
Très bien. Quelques petites améliorations ( frigo chaud, douches à revoir ainsi que les parois, etc). Mais à tester: la vue est magnifique, chacun a son espace, bien situé pour visiter.

2 Wochen mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Ätna
Wir waren im Juni mit 10 Erwachsenen in diesem Haus. Im großen und ganzen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Im und um den Pool war es am schönsten. Der sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Vermieter hat den Pool jeden Morgen gereinigt. Es könnten ein paar mehr bequeme Stühle da sein. Die Autobahn hört man an manchen Tagen ziemlich und hinter dem Haus wird ein weiteres gebaut. Wir haben den Urlaub trotzdem genossen und würden auch wiederkommen :)

Thank you Giovanni for making our week in Sicily special and memorable. Your home is lovely, more than enough room for the 7 of us, and the kitchen ammenities were fantastic. The view of Etna putting on a show for us one night was truly spectacular. The location was very convenient for getting into Taormina and Giardini Naxos harbour shops and restaurants. Lovely villa with stunning views
This is a spacious villa that is suitable for families and group stays. We were a small family group so we did not use many of the bedrooms but we felt that if there were several families it would not have been a problem as there was plenty of space inside and outside. The villa has fantastic views towards Mount Etna and a lovely terrace by the pool to sit and watch the clouds roll across the volcano - we found this very relaxing. The pool area is also wonderful and great for adults and children. The kitchen is wonderful and the best equipped kitchen I have ever come across in a holiday rental. It is really well laid out and a joy to cook in. There is also a charcoal and a gas barbecue outside - whatever you prefer to use! My only criticism of the property would be that the bathrooms were good quality but there were a few niggles. It was sometimes difficult to get toilets to flush and shower temperatures were not consistent when the water was running. This could have been to do with the local water pressure rather than any fault of the owners though. The location is also very good. The villa is set in a large private garden with views across the countryside but is just a few minutes walk from the main street in Trappitello where there are food shops, cafes, a pharmacy etc. You can buy pretty much anything you need there. We had a car but there is a bus stop very close and I think it would be possible to get around the region fairly easily by bus from the villa so long as you didn't want to stay out late. I would definitely recommend this villa and we would be happy to return.
