  • Town - 4 mijl ten zuiden van Plaza in prestigieuze "Weimer" de ongelooflijke uitzicht heuvel - 20 mijl naar Taos Ski Valley, 20 mijl naar Angel Fire

    360 graden uitzicht op de bergen van Heather's Hacienda in het prestigieuze Weimer. Een licht en luchtig huis met dramatische hoge viga-plafonds geaccentueerd met de hand gemaakte visgraat latilla gemaakt van lokale berg espen. De traditionele zuidwesten houtgestookte kiva-open haard voegt een winterse sfeer toe aan dit toch al uitnodigende uitzichthuis. Uitzichten zijn letterlijk Noord, Zuid, Oost en West. Slechts 1 mijl naar het Taos Youth & Family Center met zwembad, schaatsen en andere recreatieve voorzieningen en op 15 minuten lopen naar Carson National Forest en wandelpaden.

    Voor meer plezier en recreatie glijdt u in het weelderige bubbelbad voor sterrenkijken op sterrennachten en ontspannen na een dag skiën, raften, wandelen, vissen, fietsen of zuidwesten winkelen. Voor uitgebreid entertainment hebben de woonkamer en alle 3 slaapkamers hun eigen satelliet-tv's.

    Taos Heather's Hacienda biedt 2 'Portalls', het traditionele grote overdekte terras in New Mexico om de woonkamer uit te breiden om volledig te profiteren van de milde winters en zomers van New Mexico. Een Portall kijkt naar het oosten voor koffie in de ochtend en klaar voor bar-b-que. De tweede portall kijkt West voor ontzagwekkende zonsondergangen en sport ook een tweede gasgrill voor altijd bar-b-que. 4 juli-gasten hebben het voordeel van het eenmaal per jaar panoramische uitzicht op dat grote luchtfeest vanaf hun eigen balkon zoals een patio en / of een bubbelbad.

    Ook zeldzaam en uniek voor Taos, is Heather's Hacienda uitgerust met een efficiënt en centraal verdampingskoelsysteem dat alleen in woestijnklimaten functioneert. Degenen die 'moeraskoeling' nog nooit als een vorm van airconditioning hebben ervaren, staan voor een echte traktatie.

    Dit zeer zuidwesten stijl 3 slaapkamers 3 badkamers, 3 master slaapkamer huis is gelegen in een rustige woonstraat op Prestigieuze Weimer Hill met uitzicht op het oosten naar de Jemez-gebergte en zuiden uitzicht op de Sangre de Cristo-gebergte waar alle huizen op minimaal een of meer zijn acre percelen. Een zeldzame gelegenheid om in Taos te verblijven, want er zijn een beperkt aantal vakantiewoningen in Taos in de voetheuvels van Weimer.

The property owner provided the household items that were necessary, and we brought things that we we preferred to use at our home. For example, we brought a French press for making coffee, a Berkey water filter that we use at home and that's all.

Really appreciated the 3 master suites….with very comfortable beds. It was so nice to not short anyone….everyone had the same excellent sleeping accommodations. There was a place to gather (front room) and all kinds of kitchen equipment to cook! The dining table was lovely…..and hot tub better than all the rest. Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay in Taos! We loved it!

Taos Beauty!

Such a warm and welcoming home in a great location. There were five of us, including our small dog and we all had a fantastic time! The home is quiet and well appointed. We made good use of the hot tub after a day of skiing/shopping/sight-seeing. We will definitely book again!

Beautiful & comfy beds…house & hot tub.

This house had very comfortable beds, clean floors, cupboards, furniture, a beautiful, clean spa and lots of kitchen space for family to cook and dine. We walked every day around the neighborhood absolutely lovely Great time in the hot tub after being very cold. Felt safe and comfy for Thanksgiving with family Lots of room, I’d go there again

We enjoyed having the master suite at one end and the other two bedrooms at the other end. We appreciated having 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The house was clean and well kept. The kitchen had all the items we needed. The “swamp cooler” air conditioning system worked well once we understood how it worked. The caretaker was very responsive and professional. The dishwasher went kaput while we were there but that is the nature of appliances and they worked to get the issue addressed.

Perfect Taos Retreat

We met 2 other couples for a 5-day reunion. The bedroom suites and location made this the perfect house. Beds were all memory foam & comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of space & dishes to have meals together and relax in the living room afterward. Caretaker was very responsive. We’d stay again. Thank you!

Over my month long stay, I particularly enjoyed sitting by the fire at the end of the day and stargazing from the hot tub, while relaxing before bed!Being amongst the sage brush brought wildlife close, seeing elk hoof prints regularly and hearing the coyotes made me sure to keep my dog close at night. This also means the house is exposed to wind and can be chilly on particularly windy days.The caretaker was very helpful and responsive for my arrival and any questions during the stay.

The home was lovely, well appointed and beautifully located just a few miles from the plaza. Walking in the morning among the sage fields was heavenly and the view was gorgeous. Beautiful Southwestern home in a very quiet setting

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was a welcome refuge for us and our cats from a recent forest fire. We could not have asked for a better place to heal. The neighborhood was peaceful, quiet, with the houses well spaced apart on an acre or more land. On the south side of town, near the major grocery stores, the Taos Country Club Golf Course, and 5 minutes to the hospital. Beautiful views of Taos mountain and the surrounding sage covered landscape. The house itself had a large kitchen, dining room, and great room in the center area with a master bedroom suite to one end and 2 bedrooms and en suite baths on the other end of the home. Lovely hot tub and comfy porch furniture off the dining room and kitchen were inviting places to relax and unwind. Plenty of closet space, lovely art work and southwestern rugs topped it all off. We would recommend this home without reservation.
