Luxe chalet in Taos Ski Valley - Stappen voor Ski Trails

Dreamcatcher Chalet is een luxe merk nieuwe zuidwestelijke stijl chalet in het hart van de Taos Ski Valley. De woning is gelegen op een exclusieve weg ongeveer 50 yards van de Rubezhal terugkeer spoor, waardoor dit een unieke ski-in en ski-out eigendom.

Het hoofdhuis heeft 4 slaapkamers en 3 1/2 half baden. Het kan comfortabel plaats aan maximaal 10 gasten. Er is ook een aangrenzende appartement met één slaapkamer (VRBO # 257462) voor 4 personen, die samen met het hoofdgebouw kan geboekt worden voor een totaal van 14 personen.

Het hoofdhuis heeft een zeer ruime woonkamer met een prachtig middelpunt van vloer tot plafond Texas kalkstenen open haard. De eetzaal is voorzien van een prachtige Mexicaanse Mesquite eettafel. Voorbij de eetkamer ligt een professioneel ingerichte keuken met grote eiland, dubbele koelkast, professioneel assortiment, super stille vaatwasser en alle benodigde afspraken en keukengerei.

Er zijn vier slaapkamers in het hoofdgebouw. De master koning slaapkamer suite is gelegen op de eerste verdieping. Het heeft een eigen ingang aan de buitenkant dek en hot-tub spa. De master bad is voorzien van een krachtige stoom sauna.

Op de tweede verdieping is er ruimte ruime zolder; de tweede slaapkamer, die een koningin suite met een eigen badkamer; de derde slaapkamer met 2 stapelbedden; de vierde slaapkamer met een queen bed in een nis. Er is ook een derde badkamer op dit niveau. Het hok kijkt uit op de belangrijkste kamer en aandelen geweldig rondom uitzicht op de omliggende bergen; het is een geweldige plek voor de jongeren om hun eigen ruimte in het huis hebben.

De aangrenzende appartement (VRBO # 257462) is gelegen op de eerste verdieping met toegang hetzij via het hoofdgebouw of via een eigen aparte ingang. Het heeft een kingsize slaapkamer een complete badkamer, kitche en een pull-out koningin slaapbank in de woonkamer.

Het huis beschikt ook over een verwarmde garage 2 auto's met rekken voor uw ski's en boards sneeuw.

Vierwielaandrijving is nodig tijdens de wintermaanden.

Rosa was an incredible host. She was always looking out for us, and giving us the most out of our stay. It also happened to be my favorite mountain for how intimate and easy to navigate it was. I have been all over the U.S. so that is saying something. Rosa also went out of her way to help one of our members of the group who got stuck traveling out by giving them a ride to the nearest hotel. Also, Luna the dog was such a blessing. Thank you for allowing us to stay, Rosa!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home, ideally situated for an amazing ski vacation. Rosa was a gracious and welcoming host, making our Christmas celebration truly memorable. The house offered fantastic amenities, including a sauna and hot tub, which were perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. Additionally, Rosa provided so many amenities for our kids that were above and beyond any other rental I have stayed in, which made our travel plans much easier since we were flying. Perfect house for skiers!

This is a wonderful house for skiers. Hosts, Rosa and Fernando, are extremely gracious. View is beautiful. House is clean and spacious. Kitchen is great for cooking big meals with “industrial strength” appliances (double refrigerators and large six top range). The owners warned us ahead of time about two roof leaks caused by recent high winds. The damaged drywall had been sealed under plastic sheeting until contractors could make the final repairs. Skiers access the slopes by a short walk down the road. The house is located on a secondary road which is not the first to be plowed after a big snow storm. Big snow storms are challenging for less experienced skiers and children being driven to ski school. After a very heavy snow (in spite of Fernando clearing the driveway and Rosa calling the mayor to get plows in as quickly as possible) we were unable to drive our 8 year old to ski school. Fortunately, ski school folks kindly moved her lesson to another day. So, we enjoyed a day of books and puzzles. We thank Rosa and Fernando for sharing their beautiful views! Skiers will love this location!

5 Adults, 5 Children under 12: Presidents Day Weekend 2023

Rosa was beyond hospitable, readily available & her beautiful servants heart as a retired nurse shows. We arrived much earlier than anticipated & Fernando was skiing & unable to greet us but gave us the code. The home is stunning. Truly. The views and fireplace beckon the soul. Fernando and Rosa stay in the garage attached apartment while you are there. The first night Fernando came in looking for Cinnamon. (no problem but we didnt realize they were staying so close) It appears they live in the home most of the time with their dogs. That said, there was hair everywhere. In the kitchen drawers. Bathroom drawers. Ice trays. Sheets. Everywhere. I really hate to say it but feel I must. There was also multiple existing water leaks on sight w/ visible mold & mildew. The driveway to this home is a hard left turn, up hill. It's tough on a good day. At one point, Rosa & Fernando's dog came running out and we stopped as we were turning in the drive, as to not hit the dog - to find out we had lost all traction and slid all the way down the way back down the hill. We were there when Winter Squall Olive hit & an avalanche close to the home. It was intense. We missed flights & ended up checking out by 2 PM once the tractors were able to dig out our road. hot tub lid blew off & as Rosa sent a picture of it letting us know she was filing a claim on that a missing fireplace poker one of the boys used in the snow. Slopes are 75 yards - A hike unclipp required. Both ways. There is some work to

Fantastic Home and Hosts

I just finished a four-night stay at this home with a group of friends on a ski trip. The house is fantastic, spacious, and has a very thoughtful layout. To our surprise, the home is even nicer than the photos make it look. For those going here to ski, it is super close and accessible to the slope. Also, the hosts are SUPER as they are great communicators and made sure we had everything we needed. We have been doing this annual trip for the last 15 years and this was the best rental experience we have had to date.

We took five of our adult kids for a five day ski stay. Rosa did a wonderful job of making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house was amazing! Rosa left the Xmas decorations up for us to enjoy, the kitchen is super well supplied, plenty for eight people. Heated floor in the family area, huge fireplace made for super fun evenings! Ski in ski out to a run above Lift 1. Sauna in the master bath after skiing was terrific. Super fun!

Beautiful home in scenic location, welcoming hosts

We stayed here with family (our children and two grandparents) in July 2022, and it was an incredible experience. Details below. We would definitely come back. The house was clean we arrived, in wonderful condition with new appliances. Everything is beautifully decorated with care, and we appreciated the attention to details that made our stay comfortable. All we needed was onsite (plenty of fresh towels, soap for dishwasher and washing machine, all kitchen supplies needed for cooking, dinnerware, etc.). The outdoor hot tub seemed brand new and was amazing (nicest one we have seen - we have stayed in homes with hot tubs before), and maintenance staff automatically came for routine hot tub maintenance, checked chemical levels, etc. The garage has room for two cars, with room for another in the driveway, and it was all very easy to use. The location is incredible. We were able to walk to the National Forest trails from the house, or it was a very short drive (less than 5 minutes) up to the Williams Lake Trail Head parking lot and Bavarian restaurant, or down to the Ski Valley Village (restaurants, shops, etc.). My family enjoyed several days of hiking in the mountains, a day of rafting in Taos, and a couple of days going to outdoor restaurants in Taos. It was easy to order groceries from Smith's and pick up curbside. The house has a large new fridge that held everything we needed for a week. The host, Rosa, is wonderful and made us comfortable from before we arrived until our departure. She answered all of our questions, went out of her way to make sure we were able to enjoy the stay (made sure we could access folding chairs for the patio, answered questions when we arrived), and it felt like we were staying with family. We loved relaxing in a home that has been taken care of with love and attention by both the hosts and previous guests. It made our vacation happy. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed at Dreamcatcher Chalet for a week during Spring Break mid-March. NM had just received two weeks of snow so the skiing was awesome and somehow there were no lift lines! The homeowners were on-site in the attached apartment so they were able to greet us upon arrival and were attentive to any/every need or question. They were MORE than gracious hosts and we'd happily return to this location again. There was ample room for all 10 of us and access to the slopes was easy enough. Driving to the house after heavy snows--we did need 4wd but really the roads were clear, just a little skidding at the driveway turn in and over night as the the roads iced back up. The house is as described but better than the pictures.

Ski chalet, perfect for families and skiers!

We rented the chalet for a family ski trip and it was perfect for 4 adults and 4 children. The skiers loved the easy access to the slopes and the home was perfect for cooking family dinners and playing games. Very comfortable and plenty of room for 2 families. Fantastic property. Super attentive owners were extraordinarily helpful. Any small issues that came up were addressed immediately, most notably 36” of snow fell shortly after we arrived and the owners personally plowed the driveway so we could make it down to the ski basin.
