Dit vrijstaande, gezellige vakantiehuis ligt in een mooi landelijk deel van Cheshire, met een prachtig privéterras met uitzicht over de velden. Op het terrein van de kleine boerderij van de eigenaar biedt het een ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelaars die dicht bij de Sandstone Trail en Eddisbury Way zijn en er lokaal een aantal wandelpaden zijn. Het dorp Kelsall ligt op korte afstand en het prachtige groene Delamere Forest Park ligt op een korte rit. Deze accommodatie is ook een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor het verkennen van de historische stad Chester met zijn kathedraal, stadsmuren, unieke winkelrijen en een bruisend nachtleven. Winkel 1. 4 mijl, pub en restaurant 1 mijl.

    Deze woning is gelegen op een werkende boerderij, daarom moeten kinderen te allen tijde onder toezicht staan. Gedeeld terrein. Winterbrandstoftoeslag van £ 35 voor wekelijkse boekingen en £ 25 voor korte pauzes tussen 1 oktober tot 30 april en het is verschuldigd bij de sleuteloverdracht aan de eigenaar.

A fantastic cottage in a lovely peaceful setting outside Chester.Home from home with everything needed just at your fingertips. The hosts Gillian and Gavin were so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone needing somewhere they can rest and relax or they can explore the many wonderful visitors attractions in Chester and surrounding areas.

Lovely place to stay.

Lovely place to stay. Perfect for 2 ; either twin beds or 6' double. Everything in it you will need . Good sized bathroom with electric shower. Excellent parking . The bi-folds onto the patio are great,and the sunsets are amazing. You can see lots of stars on a clear night as well, as you are out in the countryside.It's a very quiet place, so if that's your thing it will work really well . And a lovely Brewery within walking distance for a daytime drink there, and to buy from .It is a really good place as a base to radiate out from ....Cheshire towns and villages perhaps, or further afield using A55 to Welsh coast for seaside treats . A most enjoyable stay !

Weetwood Lodge is lovely, as is Gillian, the owner.

Weetwood Lodge is lovely, as is Gillian, the owner. She was very helpful and full of tips and advice about the area. She even gave us a 2 4 1 voucher for a meal at the Royal Oak! The nearest grocers was about a half hour walk ( or a 5 minute drive!) and the 3 pubs were between 20 and 30 minutes walk. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and had everything we could want. We would definitely go there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Westwood Lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay at Westwood Lodge. The accommodation was comfortable, well equipped, clean and secure. Peaceful rural location with a lovely views. Very well located for Chester and Liverpool and local walks. The owners could not have been more helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend to others.

Weetwood Lodge was all that we hoped for.

Weetwood Lodge was all that we hoped for. The owners were lovely. The property had very pleasant views over the owners' fields. Nearby were longhorn cattle which we don't often see. We were tense from work when we arrived but we soon unwound. It is the ideal place to come to relax, read and chill and is well equipped. There were interesting places within easy driving distance such as Knutsford which has an excellent street market on a Sunday with crafts etc. We also enjoyed visiting the Shire Horse farm, the excellent local farm shops and our favourite restaurant in Kelsall, The Morris Dancer. Thank you very much to the owners for a very enjoyable week, we would love to come again.

Certainly one the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. Made to feel really welcome by cottage owner who was very helpful with information of local area. Quiet restful location with pleasant outlook.
