'Facility - 8/10. Slightly old and some spots on the carpet but overall, good. Staff - 11/10. Amazing staff. They are the best part of this place. Breakfast - 2/10. limited option. Only omelet available to order. You get water, watermelon juice, 1 type of fruit, cereal +milk, bread, 1 hot main and 1 hot side dish as buffet style. Make sure to go early before 7 if you dont want the left over scrap of hot food. Location - 5/10. Not close to anything touristic or the center. Need to use taxi to...

'After 20 years back in Brunei and for the first time in this hotel. The hotel is a real treasure of tranquility, excellent service and superb facilities. Would be nice if more guests would appreciate all that the hotel can provide as this hotel clearly ranks number 1 when looking at the whole of Borneo.'

'市街地の出るには、55番のバスのみ。おそらく１時間に２本。（55番のバスが2台しか運航していないと思います）　遊園地が近い。徒歩圏内。　ジムがあったが、使用できない状態だったので、設備には不満の評価をした。このため、外をジョギングすることになってしまったが、エンパイヤホテルの海岸線はジョギングに最適。往復8Kmくらい。'
