We had fairly high expectations, as this was one of the most expensive hotels we booked during our six month trip through Southeast Asia (around $100 per night). 'The bedside lamp doubles as a phone charger and has a switch so you don’t have to get up to turn it off. Small thing, but I loved it and slept better than I have in a long time. The sea view room faces Bacuit Bay. It’s close to the port, so it’s a sea view but not quite a beach view. The hotel can arrange motorbike rentals and island hopping tours, though there’s no breakfast included. All things considered, Z Garden was the most comfortable place we stayed during our entire El Nido trip.'
