'According to the owner this used to be the house of a prominent family of Fes. This is not very apparent from the outside, as the building does not distinguish itself from neighboring buildings, but once you enter it, a complete new world emerges. The inner court is really impressive, architecturally speaking, and is also tastefully decorated. It has a 1920s vibe. My room was a standard room and it was fairly basic, but ok. 'I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's clean and cosy, and the lady who owns it is the nicest, kindest person you will ever meet. It is genuinely welcoming and comfortable. I will definely be back.'

'It's a great place to stay and Anwar is amazing. I hope I got his name right. Anyway so the place is deep in the Medina and getting there is an adventure. If you have a mobility issue or disability, this is not the place for you. The location does not have easy access to amenities such as coffee shops, groceries etc you have to walk.
